Of all the titles in World of Warcraft, few showcase the dedication, skill, and commitment one must demonstrate to earn such titles as
<Crazy-Cat-Lady>
or
<Crazy-Cat-Man>
. And today is your chance to learn how to become one yourself!
Catching Every Wild Battle Pet
The Achievement
First, let's clear up the achievement itself.
Crazy for Cats
requires you to obtain 15 out of the 25 Cats listed below. On Retail, you have 26 Cats to choose from; however, Brightpaw is unobtainable in Mists of Pandaria Classic.
Bombay Cat
Cornish Rex Cat
Orange Tabby Cat
Silver Tabby Cat
White Kitten
Siamese Cat
Calico Cat
Winterspring Cub
Darkmoon Cub
Feline Familiar
Sapphire Cub
Nightsaber Cub
Spectral Tiger Cub
Black Tabby Cat
Guardian Cub
Xu-Fu, Cub of Xuen
Cat
Cheetah Cub
Fluxfire Feline
Sand Kitten
Snow Cub
Mr. Bigglesworth
Panther Cub
Cinder Kitten
Spectral Cub
Tradeable Cats
Alliance characters have a small advantage here. You can immediately purchase the first 5 pets in this list from
Donni Anthania
(Elwynn Forest), and
Lil Timmy
, who patrols around Stormwind City.
That said, if you have an Alliance character yourself or any Alliance friends, with the introduction of Pet Carriers, it is very easy to transfer Cats across factions now. You don't need the Neutral Auction House; simply purchase your cats on an Alliance character, learn them, then log on a Horde character, put them in a Carrier, and Trade away.
You can also purchase the Cats directly from the Auction House.
These cats can be traded, and so you can just purchase them from the Auction House. If gold is an issue, many are also available from vendors

Battle Pet Cats
Aspiring Cat Ladies can collect 11 out of 15 cats from the Auction House or vendors with very little work, trouble, or pain involved. Now, though, it's time to pick out your
final four
. You can actually find five cats for this achievement via Pet Battles in Mists of Pandaria Classic, making this the easiest and most consistent route to completing the achievement.
Pet Battle Basics Guide Battle Pets Tier List & Strongest Pets
These cats cannot be bought; you need to hunt them down in the wild and best them in combat. If you are not familiar with the Pet Battle System, you can find our guides here:

The achievement requires 20, not 15.
The required amount has been lowered in classic wow, because the tcg and store cat pets are unavailable in classic entirely, making the title otherwise impossible to acquire.

I was not impossible to get, I had 19 out of 20 before the nerf to 15, and would get it when timeless island came out with Xu-Fu.
Honestly, nerf to 15 was unnecessary.
