Remember when Reddit and the forums were convinced Hunter was gapping people and the specs were going to be broken and needed more nerfs? And now the patch is live and as it turns out, that is just not even remotely true lmao.
Nerf Tazavesh: Streets, a 50-55% completion rate is unacceptable compared to 80-90 ish for all the others.
streets has a 51% success rate, jesus
Why are we calling this Rise of Frost when the pic shows 0 Frost in the highest key and an epic ton of Rogue?
The Rise of Frost Death Knights (but not really)
Weird, a lot of melee specs up there not seeing much high key representation, and yet they aren't the ones throwing temper tantrums.
Even more evidence that the class devs of wow are complete imbeciles.
Blizzard you nerfed FDK so many times it isn’t even in the highest keys, what on earth do you mean by the rise of FDK, it’s sitting at 12th overall in raid which means nothing, boss only it’s like 14th, it’s the rise of nothing, you didn’t want them to be that strong so you nerfed them, retitle it the continued ridiculous strength of boomie arcane mage VDH and now the ‘Rise’ of the broken ass assa rouge that’s topping in raid too lol, pathetic title.
week one? or day 4?
to be honest, the new frost dk is a good example of how a spec should work. it's seeing a lot of play due to how good the rework was. can't say that much about windwalker, unholy, fire mage etc the classes need better overhauls from devs that actually know how to play them properly, like they did with frost.
Streets is such a bad dungeon. Bosses are unnecessarily hard (combination of mechanics and things hitting harder than they should) except for maybe the first boss. Not to mention, it's a long ass dungeon with small pulls mostly through the entire thing. Place is a cancer. Really only needed to put Gambit in here for thematic purposes instead of both parts. Oh well. I'm sure will get better as more people do it, but honestly. Soon as I get a 12 timed, will look to avoid it. All the other dungeons are way more fun.
Can none of you read? Like, actually, genuine question. This article talking about Frost DK isn't saying, "Hey, look, Frost is OP busted with 3 FDK in every top key." It's saying that Frost is the most popular spec in keys across all key levels. That doesn't mean they're GOOD. It means people hare having FUN playing them. As a note though, the highest FDK on the r.io ranking is 7th world. And there's 5 in the top 40. That doesn't mean it'll be meta for doing +22s or some #$%^, but it does mean they can compete at the CURRENT level of keys being done. And that isn't surprising. The highest key completion right now is a 16. People were calling a 19 casual for top players a few weeks ago. There's still a ton of pushing. Will FDK be a meta spec? No. Will the majority of players continue to find Frost fun in keys? Absolutely. It's a blast to play right now. Stop pretending like this game literally only exists for the 50 people actually competing for the very top of keys. I can tell you right now that the topend defining meta doesn't matter to anyone out here in the comments at all. You act like you've all got titles every season and people that actually go for titles are on WoW right now pushing keys, not leaving comments on wowhead. Frost DK is fun. People are playing it because it's fun. Get over yourselves.
I don't want to be a pessimist here but, here's my little attempt of a bad joke:Wowhead: *New post: Rise of Frost Death Knights!*Blizzard: *Nerf more after they were already nerfed* "Nope, can't have that."
I don't know why everybody is saying Frost DK's are not meta. They are literally everywhere even in very high keys. Yes, there might be more of X or Y in those keys atm but it's just because it's a lot of teams and among them many that try out things or play weird comps. In other terms there is no meta yet but Frost DK's might very well be in it.
