NGL I use this one a couple of throwaway alts and it gets the job done. The rotation is completely borked for some classes though and doesn't use basic abilities. One example was brewmaster monk not using blackout kick at all.
Excellent feature to help learn rotations or assist people with disabilities. I like to keep it on my bars even if I don't use it so I can see what it will suggest next, that way I can learn the rotation with my current keybinds.
Honestly, just put the game on auto-pilot so we don't have to play it and we can concentrate on the best part which is paying the subscription.
How could the feedback be negative if it only comes from people who would really go for repeatedly pressing 1 button in an mmo?
lmao if you're one of the people complaining about "Single-Button Fatigue", i think that means you're ready to move onto just pressing abilities normally. This isn't an issue blizz needs to devote time to imo, it's just a sign that people are ready to learn the next step, which is on them to do.
The feedback is overwhelmingly positive because they just ignore the negative feedback.
Simple humans, fill your bar with the one button rotation thing and you can simulate pressing actual buttons.
This addition to the game has been very useful sure there are improvements that needs to be done since certain specs play it super wierd but just spamming that button in timewalking and watching youtube on the side has been graceful.
I've loved using the SBA. I have it as my primary button (1), then have other buttons like cooldowns, interrupts, buttons that proc, heals. As someone who plays multiple alts primarily with WQ and Delves, it has also made it easier to try out new classes and specs. Some classes feel great with SBA, others not as much. I've quite enjoyed playing a fire mage (Sunfury or Frostfire) but don't like how SBA plays with a Shadow Priest. Should Blizz make it so that every class plays well with an SBA? I'm not sure, but I am one of those that likes having it available and uses it to supplement my gameplay.
Hold on a second...so to solve single button fatigue, people put that button onto multiple keybinds? Isn't that just playing the game normally with extra steps?
Easy fix for the fatigue just drag that single button assistant out of your action bar, problem solved.
I have found the OBA to be really useful even on my main in niche situations. For example, on Mythic Gally when we are at the crazy overlap ~3:00 in, I spam it while I am waiting for the blue beam to spawn and am meanwhile hovering a finger over my gateway control shard button. This way I don't need to think about what buttons to click - I just spam one for ~5-10 seconds and then can click the shard immediately and get to my far soak without stressing. I don't care if it's a DPS loss for that short of a time. It made me less anxious and I was better at doing the mechanic in front of me and that was a win for our prog.
One button fatigue? Then just don't use the one button lmao. People can complain about anything.
Every good player or lower will be beaten by almost anyone using SBA.Their major mistake, from a game health/game learning perspective, is letting it be so close to normal gameplay. The current GCD penalty is too small and the amount of automated decision making is way too much. It won't allow anyone other than the top 5% to have a better performance. Only players that don't know even how to/when to use a dps cd will perform worse with SBA. Which is insane since Blizzard often says that they're against automated decision making in addons/weak auras. That split second that you'll take to access the current situation and decide if you should go for a aoe/cleave or not, the guy spamming the one button is already doing the aoe and performing better. Imagine when the usual wow effect visual polution happens and you take longer to make that kind of decision, while the SBA is just doing all the calculations with the game data right away and changing skills accordling.Even the top players will be using this since it will perform a lot better than they could ever do when the combat gets way too crazy during a RWF.
Would have received even better feedback if they removed GCD tariff from it.But even not counting GCD tariff, there's still many issues with it like it cancelling channeled casts almost instantly, not using or incorrectly using some abilities etc...
The "one button fatigue" complaint is the funniest thing I've ever read. Like ............................ ?
