Specs considered underpowered are generally played less and tend to appear weaker than they are.

This happens as many performance-oriented players tend to play the strongest spec or class, increasing the gap between top and bottom specs even further.

Position of specs for the 95th percentile might be skewed by alternative strategies and parse funneling. We're including the chart showing all percentiles' results to paint a better picture for all specs.

Which spec is a Warlocks PvP spec, a Mages, a Druids, a Paladins, or a Priests? Are all three of their specs for PvE?

Good thing there was a strong focus on PvP so those non hybrid specs didn't feel neglected....

This was the season of hybrids, Aggrend and the team had a specific agenda to make sure the non hybrid classes, in particular Warriors, were the worst classes to play in SoD. Glad the BiS geared Warriors have finally got to a point where they feel like Warriors do in fantasy. They've been nerfing popular classes to the ground because they're overrepresented for years..

And then if a fun spec by some miracle ever becomes ever so slightly averagely powerful.. then players will flock to it because they love playing it and it's in a good spot for once.. giving the illusion that it's massively overpowered due to being massively overrepresented.Comment by SaucyRMD@Zetherior

You mean players flock to any spec that they see is performing well? That's called FOMO and parse chasing. Players are equally to blame.
