hit resil 18s as a udk about week and a half ago, and cant get into a single 19, cant push up my own 18 becasue it takes 3 hours to find a good enough group. the eco system of 19s is only players that have been there are taking others aswell, or they queue up with a friend thats 3700 thats a tank or healer and they get insta invited. witnessed many times a udk get invited that 3500 when im 3660 becasue their friends gets them insta invites.
Imagine hows the game for the non meta chasers.
I mean- through the perspective of a fury warrior, late season with very little to do now, there’s not much reason to do 20 keys a week anymore. I’d rather do my 8 and move on. Especially when *fury* Warrior, so it’s gonna be a hard sell getting into a 14 or higher.I know Arms is better, but that’s not the point I’m making.
Players in a seasonal content model slowly drop off as the season progresses? What a revelation. This chart would have been more interesting if it were compared to previous seasons to see if the retention rate was higher or lower.If you check the data it's actually a tiny bit higher over all participation than Season 1 of TWW but people are running much higher keys on average even when you account for the fact that S1 +12 is about the same as S2 +15.
Seasons are too long. What do they expect?
As healer i am selective now as to what i apply for and who i take. I dont care if people leave my group as i reject tons of people and make everybody wait. You want in for this 7? Better have done at least a 6 and have more than the 400 rio that you are applying with. I dont care that you did a 4. Do a 6 before you come and knock on my door.Que...chill, dude. Its only a 7. Heard all that crap before. Today i applied as healer to a 7. My first 7 on that character. Did all 6's so now time to step up. 3 Russians and two EU. Theater of pain. Before we even got to gorechop, evoker keeps dying to one shots while i have rejuve and regrowth on him. Sometimes all as i add lifebloom. No help. Still getting one shotted cos he is standing in doodoo and not using personals or has ZERO spatial awareness that he needs to move out of circles. Then mage also dies a few times and as usual does not interrupt a damn thing. I am the only one interrupting and i have to heal. dammit.So on gorechop they get smashed in the circle or eaten alive by the mobs since they are not capable of stacking with the tank . So now its me and tank for the last 1/4 of gorechop. We finishg him off and at that point i am know i am carryign these other 3 DPS.So i say. Russia 0 EU 1 in chat.As payback the game makes sure i die at the end. Last boss.... shows the frontal coming....i move in the only direction i can move without htting the beam. The game instantly spawns a mob and gives me 1/10th of a second to react before it runs me over. That was not RNG. That was BS vlizzard killing. Not even a Mythic raider of M+ grade 20 could react to that. I was made to move that direction or die to beam only to have that thing run me over. It was done on purpose and there was not a damn thing i could have done. I was killed. That was not RNG, that was blizzard punishing me for saying what i did in chat cos blizzard hates me. Screw blizzard.
Wait for the implementation of the "leaver" penalty and you'll see this going down further. Way down...
People are finishing up their keystone legend achieves, it's normal for them to shift to other content this late in the season.
Whaaaaat? Players don't care playing M+ anymore after many finally are finished with gearing? What a surprise O.O *Ironie off*Only reason M+ got another Spike and there still is this one "Spike" on +12 is that Blizz put in 2 more Upgrade-Tracks on every Item and hid the Mythic-Trinkets behind the "Time all Dungeons on +12"-Achievement. I know many people (me included) only played +12 Once for the Achievement and only did +10 otherwise for Vault. And since there is not a single Item in Dungeon-Vault giving me Damage increase and I have enough Crests in my Pockets to upgrade the only 2 Raid-Items that would give me more Damage, I don't care for M+ till next Season! From time to Time M+ is fun with Guild-Mates and if they need someone, I will assist... but besides this, I won't play a Single M+ till I need to in next Season... I'm a Raider and for me M+ is only a Tool to make my Gear better... and if there is nothing more, I don't care... and there are many people like me... There are too many problems with the system, that suck the fun out of it... Sure, e.g. the new "Leaver Penalty" will help, but jeah... since I most of the time only play with Guild-Mates this is no issue for me ^^ This graphs just show, that M+ is a thing, most people really only use for Gear-Upgrades... getting better Gear or at least since you are forced to do it to upgrade your Gear your getting from Raiding or even Delving... And it will get lower and lower till the point only people liking to play M+ will still play it or the Altoholics have all their Chars also equipped ^^+10 for Vault, +12 for Achievement or for the single purpose of not dealing with annoying affixes... eventhing else is for pushers (higher than +12) or for newer or not so good players just starting (or for Alts ^^)
Personally I grinded the whole week of the ilvl bump with the goal to start pushing the following week. On the reset I got another worthless vault and then I spent hours trying Cinderbrew and not one tank could even gather a first pull without dying. Then I decided to create my own group for Workshop and invited what looked like qualified players when it came to score and ilvl but 2 dps died within 10s of eachother to static bombs on the first boss. I said nt and suicided then one had the nerve to say 'RESIL?'. I logged off there and haven't logged back on since.S3 having 4 dungeons I grinded all S1 and S2 and then 3 dungeons I grinded just 2 1/2 yrs ago isn't enticing me at all. The affixes system for as bad as it could be at least made dungeons feel different. I really wish they'd just make more dungeons though. We went from 13 new dungeons in Legion with the inception of m+ to 12 in BFA, 10 in SL and DF, and now 9 for TWW. I guess it's sacrifice we need though in order to have a variety of highly engaging delves.
