Absolutely mental.

Of course, it's a new month; they're no longer employees of the month. :)

Comment by Volpecula

Am I the only one who said "Duh, youre just employee of that month"?

Comment by llozlloz

I actually think it is fine for things like this to exist. Stupid little prestige things that people with crazy amounts of time can pursue. They're called Feats of Strength for a reason. And in general, secrets needing to be discovered have been fun.

But for the love of god, please reduce the requirements of C.H.E.T.T.mate so that people don't have to worry about how the hell they are going to achieve this, most 10 point achievements are much more reasonable.

I haven't seen people mad about Employee of the Month, what they are actually mad about is C.H.E.T.T.mate.

PvP titles function the same way (but seasonal instead of monthly). You earn the achievement (for example Rival Season 2), and you get the Rival title only for the duration of season 2.

Comment by Wario52

Be funny if its Time gated and no one can even earn it yet until S3, or you have to be Exalted with all 4 factions first

Comment by ssithl

So, did they also lose the Feat? or just the title, which I'm assuming is still listed as an award from that feat of strength?

If did lose the feat itself, could it then be earned again?

Comment by skulxen

It's one person a month. What is so hard not to understand Wowhead?

You have trouble reading, buddy? The post literally talks about people that already had it.

What a womp womp title. Glad I'm not suffering from collector OCD.

It isn't. Last month there have been multiple people in different regions, even multiple within the same region who've got it

Comment by Limetail

Temporary titles show up in the character panel too. The world breaker one from Dragonflight does so.

It's one person a month.?

Source?

Comment by Soeroah

It sounds like it really is just a 'joke' title.

One person per region randomly gets the title. Getting the title triggers the Feat of Strength. Rather than earning the Feat of Strength rewarding the title.

It's very likely that's the case, and it's a joke about how people IRL can work their asses off for Employee of the Month credit and miss out and not know how or why.

Keep that hamster wheel turning

Comment by Archstone

This makes zero sense, so do you keep the feat of strength or does that disappear to?

Comment by Kepheo

I mean, it makes sense, right? Employee of the Month, title only lasts for a month, the achievement of getting it once stays just like actually getting awarded Employee of the Month at a job. Makes me wonder if there's an achievement hidden for maintaining Employee of the Month for x number of months in a row . . . . which would be even funnier to me, honestly.

Comment by boogabyte

I think it's kinda neat.

Comment by Nurmat

Being https://www.wowhead.com/title/part-timer-892 is enough.

WoW isn't a job. And it wasn't just one person that had it.
