Minions being strong in the beta was the worst thing to happen to them.
Making every build crit overpower (orange) is the worst. Give us more variety of scaling factors and remove the caps so that minions, dots and other playstyles have a chance to be viable.
if they just made some more minion uniques it could help survivability and damage as of now the only one you even use is Ring of Mendeln, the Sanguivor, Blade of Zir is worse than grandfather in every way unless your playing a army of the dead only build, they also need to minion passives as good honestly better than sacrificing option for the minions why build a character around a minion that dies constantly by being breathed on by anything after like pit 50 when you can sac it and gain more damage and not have the downsides of minion AI or survivability.
Blood Spear is nice this season, but wish they had focused on another Necro build besides Blood Wave as that was the build last season. Here is a thought; plan to make two new builds (for each class) op so folks can try different things each new season.
It's almost like this "game" is worse than D2 in almost every way besides a few QOL features. And it only exists to prop up the cosmetic shop.
What really strikes me as off in the game is the relentless push to buy new skins. Every time I log in, I'm bombarded with messages like "Press P to buy skins" or "Check out the new skins we just launched!" It's frustrating to see such aggressive promotions every single time. Even the prompt to "Press U" to browse skins related to achievements feels unnecessary and intrusive. If the developers are so focused on skins, why not reintroduce a system that allows players to buy and sell skins for real money, similar to the old real money auction house? At least that would incentivize players like me to farm for in-game currency to purchase the skins we desire, ultimately keeping us engaged with the game for a longer duration. Moreover, I can’t help but feel that the developers should invest more time and resources into genuinely improving the game itself and providing a clearer vision for its future. Instead, it often feels like their top priority is pushing these skins. If you're running low on item space, the solution is to simply buy more skins. Asking for more inventory space seems futile as if the request is met with silence. This lack of responsiveness contributes to an overwhelming sense of disrespect; what was once an enjoyable gaming experience has transformed into something disappointing and transactional. It really feels like they don't care about our feedback or what we genuinely want from the game. Rather, it’s like we’re caught in a cycle of their corporate agenda, where we’re left with the choice to either purchase what they are offering or play a game that feels increasingly stagnant, giving the impression that real progress is just out of reach. It's no wonder that other titles, like Last Epoch and Path of Exile, seem to be outpacing Blizzard in terms of innovation and player satisfaction. If only they allowed us the opportunity to earn the skins we want through gameplay instead of relentless promotions.
