By no means DK, Boomie, Mage means they are meta. It is because PETKO made consecutive Tier lists before TWW S2 release making them look like the only S Tier meta while other classes EVERY single time out DPS these 3 NPC classes and often have the same if not better utility
All I see is how fast M+ participation is dropping because Blizzard refuses to fix this overtuned mess.
Should break it down into percentages as well, instead of just raw numbers for completions
Its honestly not even that bad variety wise up until beyond +13, and thats ok. Its impossible to not have a meta.Turn aug into a tank spec, full on useless in its current iteration. Its not as hard to balance as people think, people just dont want their classes changed. Its as easy as less utility= more damage, more utility=less damage. But that would hurt mage so blizzard wont do that lol meanwhile warrior is in its current state of not excelling at either
This is the least amount of fun I've had with M+ since it's release. Season restarts, if you are geared from the previous season, you are relatively free to time 10s without problem, the only possible in-dungeon rewards are useful the week before the first reset, after that you're just fishing for vault rewards for 3-4 months, while crafting perfect quality stated items. Completely de-incentivizing itemization.There's no variance week to week anymore. Affixes are irrelevant. You are stuck with Tyrannical and Fortified on the trash and boss each week so there's never a feeling of...'Lets get this timed on an easy week' ... or feeling proud getting something done during a challenging week. It's all homogenized and becomes routine the second time you run anything. As every dungeon run is identical to the last, this has allowed the meta to be boiled down into a de facto tank and healer, with the tiniest amount of choice in DPS. The problem with this is that any class re-balances will only shuffle the top 5 of the meta. Previously the affixes, Tyrannical vs fortified... really did a great deal of balancing for the devs. Week-to-week Tanks felt the affixes and each pull uniquely. That individual would have a preference for what healer they liked that week, what DPS worked better, etc. It was up in the air sometimes for weeks or months as the season progressed, people developed new strats... all without "balancing". Now the meta is developed by the end of the first week because everything around the classes has been made shallow and produced by sleeping developers. Please help.
