A Healer Review of Sigil of Algari ConcordanceSigil of Algari Concordance received two severe nerfs after this article was written:

The proc rate was fixed to not scale with Haste.
The large primary stat proc now splits between people in your party.

The article is left as-is but I no longer recommend using the trinket. The large variance is no longer justified by the power it brings.
So, What Does it Do?

Mending the Cracks: A stacking HoT. Fairly unexciting and you can expect it to do 0-2% of your healing depending on your RNG.

Earthen Might: A 10-11k (depending on item level) primary stat buff.

both hit your entire partyWhat Makes It So Strong?Average Uptime, including stats given to others at a 50% valuation.necessarilySignet of the PrioryMug's Moxie JugThe DownsideGood Pull, Happy MonkBad Pull, Unhappy DragonWorst PullZero procs over five minutesIt's also possible for the Earthen you summon to dieWhat Might Change in the Future? This could also have been tuned around being a passive secondary trinketWhere Does that Leave Us?You can capture the same design and the same power but without a variance so high that I can go an entire mythic raid fight without a single proc.

There's just a lot of bad trinkets this season. It's been a great season overall, and certainly better than the disaster that was S1, but trinket design has failed in some respects.

something this high variance seems more like a goblin thing than an earthen thing.

complete click bait article and RNG that never works out. It's just not worth any use with that terrible design.

I got one of these for my healer in the first vault and I can't decide if it's a blessing or a curse.

Wild, even for the "unhappy dragon" pull with 5% uptime its better than signet or Moxie

Mom I want an aug evoker.
We have aug at home son.
The aug at home....

It's actually seeing quite a bit of play! I think it's not great for the game overall to have high variance trinkets like these but the design otherwise isn't terrible. If they increased the proc rate a bit in exchange for lower power on the proc I think it would be very popular.

Most trinkets are crap this season, some of the 'BiS' trinkets from raid are crap outside raid, while some of the BiS overall are crap because you have the wrong stats. And don't even get started on tank and healing trinkets, there are two total that are any good for defensive uses and one entire good healing trinket.

There are a host of trinkets that look AMAZING, but are just rubbish, like the Siphoning Lightbrand, it looks amazing for a tank, self-healing with passive damage, but it just does nothing.

So that leaves everyone trying to get the one healing trinket, that drops from raid, so you get one chance a week to farm it and one vault slot. For tanking we are chasing Cinder and for general use for non-casters we are spamming Floodgate and Priory.

It's not a great season for trinkets, so once you get your 3-4 that you want GG, can forget about it and just have fun.

What does it do if you are a DPS or Tank?

I've heavily tested healer trinkets on my resto druid and I find Sigil of Algari Concordance to be the winner among them all. Not only does it give a lot of main stat + a weak HoT, but he will throw out a large emergency heal if someone drops low while he's out.

I was wondering that, too. Unfortunately it doesnt seem to be the same stat buff (you can check when you click on the link to the item and look at the comments), otherwise you could just play this trinket on everyone in your, e.g., M+ group and practically guarantee a pretty good uptime. But alas

Trinkets are so terrible this season unless you're a 2 minute spec. For people with nonstandard burst timings, nothing really works for you, which is what has led Arms warriors to be running Grim Codex of all trinkets.

Comment by Seniaa

? House of Cards is 90 seconds and lines up with Avatar and is literally your best trinket (Eye of Kezan is simbait and also only good in raid). Codex isn't even in the top 20 trinkets for Arms.(##RESPBREAK##)258##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##

Summons a different NPC based on your role.

Aug Evoker gets the same one as regular DPS, meaning that it cannot use this trinket to buff other players.

Summons a different NPC based on your role.

Yes but what do they do for tank and DOS was the question?

Tank, no idea

Yeah that's the crazy part for sure. Even the low roll pulls are an absurd amount of average stat gain. You can also somewhat guard against RNG by stacking multiple healers with it in a group (in raid). I'm kind of hoping they just reduce the power of the primary buff and increase proc rate or something.

Right! But I think if they change it theyll probably nerf it as well. I mean going off your math its CRAZY good. Like, the QE live ranking thing really undervalues it when we look at how good it is for anyone in a coordinated group or raid... because stats on your allies are, really, effectively, 100% as good as stats on yourself. In many cases even better!

I don't like the call for homogenization here, I think it's good when trinkets are weird and don't fit into some cookie cutter template. If people are already using it sometimes, then it seems like it's fine no? People who oppose variance and randomness just for the sake of it are pursuing the illusion of esport, not the dream of MMORPG.
