So its just like we take an 'Expedetion'.... on an Island.
What invasion does it have to be for mining nodes and wax clumps to appear like every other TWW zone?
I'm really ready to just forget about this patch. It hasn't even been a week and it's already overstayed its welcome. I neglected my alts, so the catchup gear is nifty, but that's it. That's the only good thing about this filler island. When I saw the article, I thought "Maybe I didn't do everything on day one. Surely I missed something.", but nope. I didn't do anything and yet I did everything (that's available, excluding gems). Also, the whole Azerite thing really kills the mood here. Without Magni giving me sweet ASMR whispers about collecting Azerite in his echoing crystal voice, this is a totally worthless zone.
I didn’t know about the battle boar battle pet. Back to the island for 3 minutes.
I think people are expecting too much from a 11.0.7 patch. This isn't meant to be a huge piece of content that keeps us going until the next tier. It's just catch-up if you need it, collectables if you want them, and an extra weekly task to do if you care to. A bit of extra rep if you're behind, a quick source of weekly valor points, and during the anniversary some extra daily (and repeatable) bronze tokens. This isn't meant to be The New Zone we spend a patch on. It's not even meant to be one we spend our time on all the way to 11.1. We've got Plunderstorm coming back before 11.1, they obviously don't intend 11.0.7 to be where people spend all their time for eight weeks. The current content is the release TWW zones, plus this new zone, plus the anniversary, and plus Plunderstorm in a few weeks. It's not meant to replace the current content, it's meant to be supplementary to do.Do yourselves a favour and don't expect a whole tier's worth of content in the catch-up patch before a new tier. You'll enjoy it more if you don't assume it's going to be enormous. We never used to get this kind of patch until Dragonflight. You can complain it's small for a patch if you must, but it's more content than we'd been getting for quite a few expansions. Instead of just two post-launch tiers and one or two mini mid-tier patches we're getting two mid-tier patches, usually one with a zone and one with some extra stuff to do in existing content. Remember Shadowlands? We got the launch, then we got a modified Maw and new zone with a megadungeon on the side, and then we got another zone. We're what... four months into TWW and we've already got an extra zone with a bit of extra stuff to do - it doesn't have to be huge to be more than we used to get. We didn't have new content in Shadowlands for twice as long.
i'm not seeing any new quests (EU).
