As the Feast of Winter Veil draws near, loved ones around Azeroth gather close in celebration. The fabled Sons of Lothar are no exception, but amid their long-awaited reunion feast, something weighs on Alleria Windrunner: Xal’atath remains at large and could strike at any moment. Even against the festive trappings of Winter Veil, the paragon of the void elves can’t help but wonder if their peaceful days are indeed numbered . . .

But, it's also hard not to feel a little disappointed that it's muddling about in another round of Alleria angst, which is a point we've marinated on for multiple comics and short stories now, whereas we actually had a big four expansions too late development in Heartlands. Miiight have been nice to focus on that instead of just relegating that to a single panel in this comic. I hope that doesn't play out entirely off-screen.Comment by felbloodsTo provide some positivity that will be drowned out by all the whiner babies in the comments here, this was SO CUTE! World of Lovecraft is my jam. I like the background they provided about Eitrigg being there and the banter. Wasn't quite sure whose the kids were? But alas. I also liked the little snippets of other folks, was trying to figure out if Jaina and Anduin were in Hallowfall with Faerin and the orphans or if he was, like another commenter said, with that farming family from his short story. Knowing Blizzard they probably do think we're that stupid given their history of not respecting their playerbase.
