I gotta remember that not everyone who cares knows about Petopia lol. I saw the title, thought "Wait, we have new pets now?", then got mildly disappointed when it was what I already knew. For those who don't know; the blue phoenix DOES NOT FLY and awkwardly waddlewalks next to you when tamed, the grand wind rider is super small and thin when tamed (not grand at all), and if you're a weirdo who actually likes the crabs, you have to potentially sift through a bunch of other skins because the tameable mobs have 16 possible skins. You can very well go a whole day and probably never see the skin/s you want. It's nice to have these new appearances, but their potential is squandered due to Blizzard's odd choices.

Well, new pets for BM and Survival hunters only!And petopia is an amazing website for planning your Hunter concepts. You can easily have a dozen hunters of different races and pets and have them all feel very unique.
The thumbnail text for this article mentions spectral wind riders, but the spectral wind rider NPC isn't tameable...
Ah pew, so glad they are changing things around for mm hunters... Now we don't need to bother taming these new pets.Ps. No, changing to other specs to tame them and change back to mm... That's not the same thing. Might as well play another class, my fire mage will have as much use of a new hunter pet by this point.

While the island was an unfortunate flop due to < 20 quests, and < 2 hours of total content. It's nice that there are some new pets to tame for hunters.

New models we can't use because they don't have Bloodlust. It's so annoying that Blizz doesn't let us spec our pets.
