Blizzard Aware of Issues with Progress Reset on Love is in the Air Achievements

Both “Support Your Local Artisans” and “Love Language Expert” achievements progression has been reset today. That meant for me at least that after giving out the whole 50000 gold I’m back to 20% completion when I should have finished it today. And the other achievement is pretty much impossible to finish now since it’s unlikely that the particular daily quest will be up enough with the right gifts to be doable this year.

The problem was they made the achievements account wide and that reset the progressions we had. And now it looks like they reversed the change by making those 2 achievements no longer account wide and that seems to have fixed the problem. If they had made them account wide from the beginning both achievements would have been easier to get, and we would not have had any problems.

For love language expert account wide doesn't help because every character and faction gets the same daily and gift every day, you don't get more opportunities with more toons.

And regardless of reset, the other achi, love language expert, is locked behind a bit too much rng, you need the right daily out of 3 that I saw so far, and then you need the right random gift out of 2, so each day there's an 1 in 6 chance to get the right gift, and overall you need both, else you will not be able to satisfy either one or the other npc, in an event where you get only 15 opportunities (not 14 cause the daily reset, in eu, is 5h earlier than the event starts and ends).

You can abandon the quest, retake and make other characters without losing achievement progress, yesterday I did every criteria except beauty.

it is helpful to be account wide because there are some of the things that you can do regardless of the gifts that only require you to do certain emotes

Quality Control at its very best.

I would hope they're going to fix this soon since that's a lot of gold to waste.

All I need is the Praise gift. The letter only apeared the first time the quest came out and I got it. Then the progression reset and now they keep giving the flower mystery gift and spamming the other daily quests making this impossible to complete.

This new version fo the festivity was on PTR and is still a huge mess. Imagine when they release the stuff of 10.2.6 which will not even get any ptr testing because they want to be a "surprise" and which will probably turn into a hot mess
