Patch 10.2.5 Hotfixes for February 1, 2024 - Mythic+ Bug Fixes, Mage's Shifting Power Visual

Here you'll find a list of hotfixes that address various issues related to World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Burning Crusade Classic, Season of Discovery, and WoW Classic. Some of the hotfixes below take effect the moment they were implemented, while others may require scheduled realm restarts to go into effect. Please keep in mind that some issues cannot be addressed without a client-side patch update. This list will be updated as additional hotfixes are applied.

February 1, 2024 Achievements

Fixed an issue in which the achievement Battle Mender: Season 3 was not providing progress.

Mage

Shifting Power's visual will now appear smaller and should be less disruptive for the Mage's allies.

Fyrakk the Blazing

Flamebound and Shadowbound are no longer private auras.
Developers’ notes: We've observed that the common strategy for players executing the Flamebound and Shadowbound mechanics on Mythic Fyrakk involves cumbersome addon/macro setup and execution. Our goal with this change is to remove this burden for players who are progressing on this encounter and refocus the challenge on the gameplay.

Blackrook Hold

Fixed an issue where the enemies around Lady Velendras Ravencrest do not have linked aggro.

Dawn of the Infinite: Galakrond's Fall

Fixed an issue where Manifested Timeways can occasionally cast Unwind during keystones.

The Everbloom

Fixed an issue where the Ancient Protectors encounter can fail to respawn.
Fixed an issue where Archmage Sol can cast Cinderbolt Storm twice after gaining Fire Affinity.
Fixed an issue where the mages before Archmage Sol were not resetting their health after they left combat.

Pet Battles

Fixed an issue causing several multi-hit Battle Pet abilities to have a chance to ignore on-death passives such as Undead or Mechanical resurrection.

Player versus Player

Fixed an issue causing Stoneform and Fireblood to trigger a longer cooldown for Gladiator's Medallion than intended.

Most guilds lost a toon of time trying to config the WeakAura on Neltharion, then you guys made it again but worst this time. Is my last raiding tier anyway you don't even play ur game that's why u put stuff like this in the Game! If someone can tell me how these private weak auras are fun starting from Smolderon? And then a last boss with 2 them wiping each Raid multi times until they do it!
I know why you did this u didnt want pp to clear the raid in 5 weeks cuz the game will offer zero content! Sad news for you we had it today and gl with ur Fated Bullsh*t

2. Fix the boatload of outlaw bugsComment by SchattensangPrivate auras aren't an issue at all. The issue comes with the timing to execute them. For Smolderon you had enough time to communicate who soaks the orb next. For Fyrakk intermission you don't. You have 20 players getting one of two debuffs and have less than 10 seconds for everybody to get into places. You simply can't communicate something like that properly.

And before somebody argues, that you use the macro workaround on Smolderon as well: Sure you do, but that's because you want automation. You don't want to think about mechanics, you just want to be told what to do. Fyrakk Intermission could give you a minute to get into position and you still would automate it.Comment by ElectricBloodPlayer versus Player
