Seasonal Renown Progression Will Not Transfer Between Normal and Hardcore Modes - Diablo 4

Normal characters on the Eternal Realm will have map & Altar of Lilith progression carry over to Normal characters in the Seasonal Realm.

Hardcore characters on the Eternal Realm will have map & Altar of Lilith progression carry over to Hardcore characters in the Seasonal Realm.

Normal and Hardcore characters can only share progress with characters in the same mode, there is no crossover.

On July 18th, when Patch 1.1.0 goes live, logging in to multiple characters will allow all of them to share this Altar of Lilith & map Renown progress with each other, as long as the characters are on the same game mode (Normal vs. Hardcore).

Yea they said this in the beginning. I wonder who was the crowd who said that it would transfer everything.

Softcore Ladder/Season Alters and Maps = Softcore Ladder/Season Alters and Maps

Hardcore Ladder/Season Alters and Maps = Hardcore Ladder/Season Alters and Maps

You don't get the 2 for 1 deal not like KFC lol.

What a dumb restriction.

As expected really.

What a dumb restriction.

How is this dumb?

Comment by Triarge

Well that's dumb.

Especially considering there is no way to migrate your HC char to Standard if you die like in PoE.

So let me get this straight;

If you died on HC, you can't transfer any progress to new season because you can't login.
If you played HC and unlocked everything and decide to play with your friends on non-hardcore (which is 10x easier), you can't transfer any progress.

No wonder this game has dropped 97% viewership and 85% players in 30 days, compared to Diablo 3 which took 1 year to reach this state.

Comment by Snowflakesz

That seems rather obvious.

Comment by dalaraz2

seems logical to not transfer but then again why not, what is the issue if you get the unlocks on the easy mode,if you did em on the hard mode of the game

source please

also that hardcore and softcore character don't share progress has been like that SINCE #$%^ING LAUNCH you daft !@#$

Comment by Gobbel

Well as it stands some progress is shared between softcore and hardcore so the question wasn't entirely dumb.

Comment by Sayerel

What a dumb restriction.

y'all wanna play hardcore like it's something so special

Comment by lvayne

This is kinda obvious? Whoever thought that SC and HC should share anything clearly missed the point of SC/HC
