Oh wow that's really nice looking! Though could we also please get the OG orc eye and hair colors too? I don't see why this race needs to be so limited. We could also really do for some of the older hairstyles and some newer ones as well!

Wake me up when we get Shattered Hand, pale white skin.

Okay?

This is like asking why blood elf players don't get void skins lol. They haven't been through the event that created those features, full stop.

I do think that orc hairstyles should be ported back and forth between the races. No tangible reason why that shouldn't happen but a bit of work. Base female orc hairstyles in particular leave much to be desired and I wish I could give one of the cool Mag'har ones to my OG orc warrior.

Great, now I have a new thing I desperately want

this looks better than expected

I hope this means there's more coming down the pipe btw. I'm dying here to give my VE blood death knight red eyes so I can roleplay a proper vampiric character.

Cool, now how about we get the pale alabaster white shattered hand skins for Mag'har too?

Comment by Cyyna

Still waiting for Skinny Kul'tiran male.

I mean, at that oint just play BE

I wish we'd get the OG Mag'har skin colors for the regular Orc race. I'm not the biggest fan behind the voice acting for the actual playable Mag'har; they sound way less... 'Orc-y'.

That, or let players pick and choose voices for their characters (within reason ofc, such as Tauren swapping with Highmountain, Trolls swapping with Zandalari, etc).

Comment by Pesach

This is just how it used to look before the Shadowlands update that made their eyes weird. I'm glad someone brought it back as an option.

Or they could have just given us High elves in the first place.

BE DKs can't use the red eyes either so that doesn't solve anything.

Those have been playable since BC, they're called "blood elves"

Hope this helps!

Yes and Orcs are just the playable Ogres horde has been wanting since WC2, hope this helps.

In all seriousness, you know what people meant when they say High elves, we mean the 5% of surviving high elves who rejoined the Alliance and have been in every freaking capital and major faction city since classic, and comments like what you just said are reductive and snide at this point.

sure wish my dk could get some new eye colors super sick of the blues....

I think it's time they stop with this allied race shenanigans and just merge races that are actually the same just with different customization options (Lightforged Draenei, Mag'har Orcs, Void Elves, Highmountain Tauren). Just make it so you have all customization options under the same races (Draenei, Orcs, Blood/High Elves, Tauren) and you can select things such as voices and dances, and even racials, just so you don't waste these assets created for these ""unique"" races.

As for Void Elves being in the Alliance, it was always a weird decision, but since we're already here, and you can customize a Void Elf to appear completely voidless, just make Blood/High Elves playable by both factions. I mean, ultimately, we should simply have all races decide what faction they want to be in...there's so many cases in lore of different races joining different factions. One could argue for faction identity, but we're way past that point given that we have canonically worked together in raids since the beginning of WoW, and more recently in gameplay too. Leave faction exclusivity of races to Classic WoW and let us choose our own story in retail.

Blue eyes, then I'll happily race change all my orcs.

nice.
Will we get more Vulpera Fur Colors as well at one point?
And maybe some full black and full white furred male and female pandaren.
Right now only males can be black
Why blizz?

Comment by Hristofurhr

It continues to blow my mind how limited customization is in WoW when it'd be so easy to add new stuff even if it was just adding a colour or two (which unless it's been set up by an amateur cannot be complicated to do). There are so many easy Ws Blizz devs could get with a community of people far larger than those who are constantly complaining (albeit a lot of the complaints are valid) on reddit/wow-twitter about PvP and PvE.

They could quadruple the amount of customisation available with next to zero work by adding full colour customisation and letting people go wild with it.
