Hope this information helps if relevant. I am a lvl 75 barbarian and was playing at 0630 on Aug 15, 2023. I was equipped with 'weapon master's doom casque', 'primal beastplate of the crowded sage', 'frostburn', 'archon faulds of the iron warrior', 'penitent greaves', 'hellhammer', 'serpent's bite of encroaching wrath', 'azurewrath', and 'fields of crimson', and using a max resource increase potion. Not sure what details led to him to attack so I waited till he respawned and he attacked me again. Also, I'm using my seasonal character and did so finish the campaign for the season but not the season's journey accomplishment thing.
