I get home from work at 4 PM PST. I will be pleasantly surprised if the servers are up when I log in.

I certainly won't complain, but I'm surprised. If I were them I'd have just kept it at 6 hours. If you get done earlier than you said, hey, you make everybody happy. If you're done late, though, even if it is earlier than the initial prediction, prepare for extreme salt.My only thought is they must be pretty confident that this will go smoothly. I'm hopeful for once!
One would expect switch flipping to be quicker than a few hours, but assuming maintenance doesn't get extended, this will still be a good time. Not gonna hold my breath of course, but still.
It was up earlier than announced this week too. Good for them.
Fingers crossed it does happen early! 🤞🤞 They could've just left it as it was previously announced and getting servers back up earlier would've been a pleasant surprise. Now just in case "if" it takes more than four hours, people will start complaining just because they said servers would be up in four hours!
