I understand the 30k is an investment but even then the material cost just isn't worth the rare instances I'd need to go there. Unless that new LW item is "BiS for everyone", stuff like this just is never worth the gold costs because the player doesn't understand or care, and I rarely even need to go out that way. When I do, I just ask for an extra 5k.

Now, if you made the people requesting the work orders go to the dungeon to make the work order in the first place, instead of the crafter, you can certainly believe people would pay to have this thing around. This is ridiculous.Comment by deathlavitz30k is a lot of money, when even now if you are high enough item level and skill you can solo normal. Come patch 10.1 once we get to heroic item level we'll be able to solo the normal dungeon to get to the alter. Sure it takes time, and you can que for normal and speed it up further but if someone is tight on gold, that's too much money.
