I totally see this patch in mid-January. What appear, the sooner it become available, the better it will be in the heart of the players, and allow for a long run of pretty transmogs and additions to the game without being worried about tier-sets, current expansion aesthetic, etc.
I noticed Trading Post will launch in February. Hint: screenshot.
Well considering trading post has feb. on it - I would say feb. sometime.
Mid January makes sense and hopefully as soon as 10.0.5 goes live they'll put 10.1 on ptr. If they want to go back to normal patch cadence which we had in BfA and Legion 10.1 should be releasing by late April.
1.5 month after DF release? No way. More like late feb, early march.
I hesitate to want to call this a .5 patch if it's coming out a month after the season started. We're half way through the season in jan? That would be like a 4 month season. If the seasons are going to be on par with S4 of SL in terms of length valor should be uncapped
As much as I think mid-January would be nice, I also wouldn't be surprised if it was released in February. I just wonder if I'll get more reason go to the Dragon Isles. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad that I'm getting closer to taming a Viewlwing. I'm just not playing as much as I expected.
January makes sense if they reopen the ptr now, I can't see them not wanting to test this before sending it out. Even though it's not a major system I can see it having potential bugs, mainly the weapons and armor now that we can mog greys/whites and add illusions to artifacts.
10.0, 11.0, 12.0, these would be giant patches, new expansions only.10.1, 10.2, 10.3, these are (almost always) big patches. New raids, new dungeons, new world content.10.0.5, 10.1.5, 10.2.5, whatever, these are not halfway points. They're impactful patches that aren't as big as the previous set, but still have some good stuff to look forward to. New questlines, new features, etc.
It's a pretty minor patch so was always a pretty good guess to say it'd be January.
Does that mean we'll have a super short Season 1? I hope not.
what funny..CN spring festival CN wow end.
Dragonflight is pumping!
Ok. This confirms that it should be available on the first weeks of February as a late date.I am truly excited for it.By the way, some of you are confused between season & patch. This new patch doesn't mean that the season will end, it's just a new patch which introduces some new QoL things, achievements & Trading Post.It happened back in 9.1.5, they brought Legion TW & MT without modifying the course of the season, except for some class changes.Season 2 should start with a 10.1 patch.
