This tree is a joke, what were they thinking when they made this tree? this might be worse then the mage tree's. Boring and doesn't flow well, the placement of talents don't make any sense. When they delayed this tree I had hope for a redesign, but this is just so flat. Biggest problem is HOLY POWER please remove it, and redesign this tree why do I have to pick talents that we should already have built in to the spec.

I can't believe I waited 2 extra weeks while they were working on this garbage. Any hope of a meaningful change to the spec has completely vanished.
Pretty sure this is still the old temporary tree for Holy, not the actual alpha build.
So Divine Toll is locked behind glimmer, great.......... There's also no point in taking the entire Light of the Martyr/Maraad's Dying breath path, because You can't also reach Breaking Dawn to increase Light of Dawn's range. Or even Awakening for that matter...... What a mess.

Admittedly, half of what's wrong with it at first glance could be fixed by doing what ALL of these trees desperately need, which is the ability to go UP the tree to get to connecting talents, instead of things literally only connecting by going down.I mean, for real - why pretend that half of this stuff is even an option, when you HAVE to take it in order to get to the things below it. All of my excitement at being able to skip Holy Light (I literally haven't cast that spell for eons) is dashed by being forced to take it anyway, because I HAVE to go through it to get Focal Light and Radiant Onslaught. Also, please - forced Crusader Aura? If you're going to force me to take it, it should be made baseline, and I shouldn't have to talent into a core spell of any friggin' healing class. This is absurd.
I logged in for the first time in probably 10 years to say this tree is absolutely the worst thing I've seen in the entirety of the alpha build so far. Nothing flows. You don't have points to even think about synergy. Half of this tree is just healing increases instead of actual talents. This has to be a joke right?
Garbage. No synergy, no interesting builds, just a bunch of clusters that make no sense.
I couldn't tell you the last time i used Holy Light, and having the instant cast Holy Shock/Crusader's Might locked behind Holy Light is the ABSOLUTE most backwards thing i've seen in a single talent tree. And let's be honest here, there is not a single Holy Paladin in ANY content that does not play Awakening. This needs to be baked into Avenging Wrath. Hpal wings were nerfed HARD in Shadowlands, and a tree where we need to spend all of our points to only get back SOME of our kit feels incredibly sad.Also, who honestly wants a caster paladin in the game again? It is literally the only healer that doesnt currently have to cast to heal and deal damage. In exchange, it has to be in melee to do this. I feel like this is already a MONUMENTAL drawback to the class/spec, enough so to justify increased healing output-- which it doesnt currently have.Try healing M+ on Dragonflight on Hpal vs Rsham. Your average melee playstyle Hpal simply will be incapable of healing a group of pugs, much less large aoe damage...TL;DR Least thought out tree i've seen so far. Arguably worse than Marks/surv trees. Try again.
Things I was hoping for-Avenging Crusader would be changed to being passive or a 3 holy power move to make the melee battle healer feel enjoyable and add Holy Shock. -Make Light of Dawn not a frontal cone-Change Mastery to allow different heal styles-Bring back MoP Selfless Healer talent in some way or what Ret has-Following the Melee healer have Shield of the Righteous give absorb shields to alliesThe tree we got is a jumbled pile of %^&* and unimaginable. I wish the bottom talents encouraged different play styles.

Just from the first look of things and no real analysis behind what I am saying here but all that looks like is "throw some %^&@ there and see what sticks", absolutely no sense in 90% of the placement of talents , weird interactions and abilities that should've been baseline anyway. Ok, I admit they tried to put some things there to start the "caster" build but the end result is absolutely terrible. Caster talents locked behind melee talents and vice-versa, all this need rework and a big one at that. I am sure next few days more feedback will be given but my first impression is just disappointment.
This literally depressed me. As an hpal main, this feels lackluster and is missing synergy. Why make a melee healer have to cast? Too many things revolve around holy light/flash of light. What about our holy power? What about fixing our mastery that many of us have detested ever since it was changed in Legion? I enjoy raiding and pushing keys, but there is no way I'm doing any of that with a tree like this. Why even give us NF talent when we were mainly Kyrian, Necro or Venth as Holy. It will force Hpals to be talented into Summer, and like PI, shouldn't be a thing. I don't care about being meta, or being number 1 on meters. I want to enjoy playing my main. If I can't enjoy playing my main, I may not even play my alts. This was really disappointing, Blizzard. I hope you listen to us like you did hunters. We pay to play this game for fun, not to be forced to reroll b/c you gutted our main spec. I understand some players wanting a caster style, but that can be balanced with a melee build side and a ranged build side.
