Depends if you wanna pay in tons or kilograms.

Comment by Shammoz

yeah cool. So what about roubles. When's that coming back?

When international sanctions end. It's a legal thing, not a Blizzard thing.

to be more precise - when russia gets all of it's military out of a sovereign country's territory and repays for all the destruction it caused.

Add support to Middle east and North Africa Blizzard, it's been almost 20 years and we're still paying in EUROS or USD depending on where we play.

Comment by Nymrohd

players from Turkey paid in Euro.

Not just them, but who cares about the others...

They did have issues not just with rampant inflation but also with their currency exchange rate to the Euro well before the invasion, heck to some extent even before the pandemic. THough I guess there may be non-EU European countries with similar issues? Probably not large enough markets for Blizzard to care (I mean to some extent the company needs to be able to use this currency inflows locally, if they have to exchange them they'd be working at a loss).

Same for some middle/eastern european countries.

Georgian Lari for example is used by a smaller country than Hungary, Poland, Romania or the Czech Republic. These countries have to deal with both inflation and exchange rates, just because they are in the EU.

Comment by Shadowinfect

To be honest, Blizzard must do still a little bit discount for players from Turkey.

Comment by Grandkam

Took them way too long to add new currencies, which is odd.

Comment by Faradize

give us hungarian Forint already.

our sub fee is getting 20-30% increase per year...:(

I couldnt find information about this , is it possible to lets say pay in Turkish lira with VPN or its against TOS? I'm not talking cross-region. I'm tired of being f'ed by conversion rates.

Comment by Gamblero

When are we gonna get cheaper prices for lower-income countries?

No. Steam still allows to buy games in a roundabout way. It is a decision of companies to block a store, not banks or countries.

No point arguing with facts. It doesn't matter who made the decision. A decision has been made.
Shammoz answer has nothing to do with politics. The political decisions has been made by others. He just explained how it affects.
This question smells of trolling, since you probably already knew the answer for this, unless you were living on mars the past few months.

Probably never, cause they don't really care, but i still hope even though it's futile

Comment by ikechi

Neither Georgia, Turkey, nor Kazakhstan are Eastern European countries.
