i farmed this one when i did not have flying in legion, it was a pain! Took like 5hrs.

I did this last August when it was up last... so worth it! One of my favorite mounts.As someone who had never done archaeology. Took about 3 hours, not too bad at all, it was actually pretty relaxing. Highly recommend!Comes up once every 6 months so totally worth it!

If the choice is between doing it and not doing it, I recommend doing it.
Got this mount in about 1.5 hours, and went from level 53 to 55, not bad XP gains from archaeology.
I still have this mount on my favorite collection, it's really cool and easy to maneuver around with.
Another mount that was supposed to be locked up forever 😄 End of legion they said "rush it because it will be gone forever" just to get subs to farm the %^&* out of it. Now they bring back ever 6 months lol
Don't forget to do it on a dwarf if you have one, so you can get extra fragments. That's ironforge dwarf. Also make sure you kill any spirits, they dropped like 10-15 bone fragments for me, saved a digsite worth of stuff each.
Great end date listed on the post... it ended on the 22nd, as I frantically tried to finish it before reboot on the 22nd when I realized that after thinking I had until the 23rd, I got to a little over 400 pieces... and then shutdown. Looks like it will be 6 more months, I will look for the next time it was posted and hopefully not procrastinate, but that's literally part of ADHD.
