That's all it takes to make your player base happy. More transmog more customisation. Now add different tints to spell and auras and it's just gonna be epic! (ignore balance for a sec)

How does one test the forms? See if things clip? OR see if they can actually apply it? Seems like a simple thing code wise - like transmog. Either it works or doesn't.

Hahaha it always seems simple but you never know.

I work in cybersecurity and do identity software. Simple things that make sense sometimes cause breakages and issues elsewhere. You always have to test.

They will also want to ensure the model moves correctly and acts correct as well

Theres some obvious things, such as does it crash the game client? Does it actually work? Does it work indoors? Does something weird happen when you go into water?

But there is also some more subtle things you can test. Can you use the same abilities while shapeshifted without canceling the effect? Maybe there is some weird interaction shroud?

Would really like to see them add spectral kodo form too.

Comment by thegreatzazil

would be nice if blizz added ghost wolf animal forms that fit the races, like they did with the paladin mounts and newest druid race forms

Comment by HeyHrothmar

Would be ecstatic if the altered Ghost Wolf appearance extended to your Feral Spirits you summon.

never happen kodos are big and slow and jerks would use it to stand on top of npc's

Are we testing forms for Shaman Ghost Wolf now?
Is it the current state of the game?

Thats beyond ridiculous...

Kodos to big? People are using longboi on top of npc and mailboxes. Don't think that would be an issue for not add a kodo!

Finally a great thing for shamans! I wondered for a long time when shamans would get some new forms, because druids have so many of them...
Wouldn't be also bad if these new forms have some glowing effects or something like that :-)

Anyway thanks for adding!

That's called "communicaton". Feel free to try it sometimes.

Go Lassie form

Comment by GameLeech666

Vulpera should still get their Default "Ghost form" as some variation of the Llothien Prowler, because why would a fox choose to turn into a wolf...?

Comment by Snowrulez

Pffff...just hurry up with patch 9.2, instead of worrying about these pointless things.

Comment by Unius

Maybe just disable it in PvP so it doesn't confuse anyone as it really doesn't matter in PvE content though.

They did have issues with the wolf update where the run animation didn't match the speed which you move with the talent so thats probably a thing they will look out for.

Comment by shamanlover

I'm curious if these new ghost wolf forms will have some of the "extra" animations we're used to now from the base spirit wolf form or raptor form, such as eating animations, dancing animations etc.

The raptor eating and dancing animation are especially great, but I reckon those only exist because they had to create them for the Zandalari Troll raptor travel form.
