The Jailer, he who tormented so many, who long ago set in motion the plague of undeath on our world, has finally been destroyed.

The Crown of Wills

Behold the Crown of Wills, that which sought to bind us will be made anew.
Imbued with the strength of those who defied Domination.

The Crown of Wills was the main item in a quest chain in Classic WoW

The Crown of Will Description:

Mug'Thol and his ogre warband was sent to Alterac to retrieve the Crown of Will for Lady Sylvanas. Unfortunately, instead of returning it, the idiot decided to try it on... I suppose ogres can't resist anything bright and shiny.

His bumbling actions have become something of a problem, however. The Crown of Will enabled him to resist the possession placed upon him to serve Lady Sylvanas.

The Crown of Will Description:

All that remains is to deliver the Crown of Will to Sharlindra in the Undercity. She will see that it is delivered to Lady Sylvanas. I would warn you against thinking to use it for your own purposes, <name>, Mug'Thol's fate should be illustration enough.

Like so far based on what they have given us, I have no motivation for disliking the guy.

He was the original arbiter but then because he decided to explore "FORBIDDEN KNOWLEDGE" he was replaced but like forbidden by who?

What was so bad? I genuinely don't understand this story.
