This zone is MASSIVE, feels a lot like Stormheim in scale.I love the one area of the zone where the jailer hooked on and grabbed the Guardian for the First ones for the raid, just a nice little nod and appreciated.
Definitely an improvement over Korthia.Hard to actually determine the size. But I am glad to see the surface is somewhat flat in nature. Got tired of Korthia terrain within first few hours of 9.1 tbh
I entered the PTR to test some Tier bonuses and i did the first 2 missions or 3 and stopped. I don't want to spoil myself the zone because we are going to be there for a LONG time and don't want to burn it yet but the zone is big and feels nice to hang out, not like korthia, maldraxus or bastion
It's vast and gorgeous, with different biomes and a variety of mobs, including several elite areas, numerous rares, a lot of puzzles and platforming elements.I still have no idea why the place where the realm of Death was forged looks entirely like what I'd expect from the plane of life. But I'm not mad about it; not sure I'd want to spend a year or more in whatever zone they'd make over that theme.
Pandaria with cartoony sci-fi vibes, eh.

You know, all crap-posting aside. Zereth Mortis is actually a really pretty zone. that being said they did kinda hammer it in a little much in the presentation video. And i gotta say it i think it's my favorite zone aesthetically so far. I'm a sucker for the Fractal theming. Cant wait for people to see the new raid as well.
The zone looks pretty good, in fact everything that we've seen about the patch so far looks great and they are responding to feedback super early. The only problem is that the patch will come out like 8 months after the last one which is way too long. I really hope they figure things out for 10.0 and give us patches every 3-4 months.
