Preview of New Bufonid Mounts from Zereth Mortis in Shadowlands Patch 9.2

new Protoform Synthesis systemGoldplate Bufonid

This armored bufonid is always ready to leap into battle... as long as that battle is really, really close. In a pinch, it can leap multiple times and eventually reach the battle.

Patient Bufonid

Some bufonids will sit perfectly still for hours or days at a time if left to their own devices. Fortunately, they're also far too calm and patient to get upset if a rider would like to move more often than that.

Prototype Leaper

An ancient schematic allows for a reinstantiation of this early, but functional, bufonid design.

Russet Bufonid

Russet is a rare color among bufonids, normally only seen on specimens that are tainted by other cosmic forces or synthesized from a perplexing schematic that invokes that color.

These robotic frog mounts are insane! Man I am so going to love collecting all of the mounts from Zerith Mortis! I cannot wait for the PTR to go live :)

The rule of shadowlands mounts, new mount with 4 colour versions xD. If there isnt 9.3 then it wont be a rule

They're still the only toad mounts that look like normal toads.

Comment by Alittan

I mean it's the same toad model again.. literally all the 9.2 mounts are reskins of other mounts or other mount models (bear, bee, shop bird, jellyfish..). Yawn

cool love these now remove limits on how people obtain pvp mounts and pve mounts. as in make a pve way to get pvp mounts and pvp ways for pve mounts. wont respond to those saying stuff about it ruins it for others who got it or diminishes the feeling because it ruins the fun for those who dont have it and diminishes the feeling for those who dont have it. stop your need to flex let the RPG be and RPG

Comment by Zyrinx

A frog by any other name is apparently a (checks notes).... bufonid?

Nm it's from the Latin for the toad family

To the whiners of the forums..

The mounts are GOING to be similar to other mounts we have . They are PROTOTYPES of the animals in the game.

In other words if you don't like it, don't collect it. i hear 12367 chocabos in your future.
