How come the mythic set doesn't add any new effects like it would have done in Legion

First picture is the Mythic tint and last picture is the Elite PVP set tint. Those color schemes are consistent with other previews posts and found in the PTR data.

The concept art was magnificent. But this... Ugh. It seriously lacks of volume and 3d assets. At this point, they really need to improve the structure of armors. It just looks like a lazy copy/paste texture on a generic robe model. And then, we have this "flat" thing. Clothes aren't supposed to be that rigid.
garbanzo set, no 3d assets apart from shoulder piece if you compare it with other class sets mage has the least this tier. everything about this is pretty bland, head piece covers head in the worst way possible. 0/10 i dont think they can come up with worst then this.
I have always been a mage main and this is just… really terrible. But at least it doesn’t make you look like a KKK Grand Wizard like the warlock one so I guess it’s got that going for it at least… seriously though I can’t wait for this expansion to be over, such a mess.

God, none of those colors look like a mage set. The only one of those imo that looks good is the mythic one ... But it looks like a priest set more than a mage one.Gotta say, I've been waiting for the return of class sets for almost 4 years, and I'm really disappointed by that first iteration (aesthetic wise, tbc, the actual tier set bonuses look amazing for the most part)

Its just the Priest tier with pointy shoulders lol. Doesnt even look like a set for the class its designed for, like a handful of the new sets coming. 3/10 for class fantasy.
The most positive I can say is at least its a better look than the cloth SoD sets…but like others are saying, it looks far more suited for priest than mage.
Looks clean tbh and even has some small 3D details. Just gives priest vibes and needs a little more something.
That robe couldve been a quest reward from MoP so basic and low def.
