Well, at least they're trying to do something about the bots... waaayyy to late though.
So, you're saying that now EVERYONE must spend 5,000 gold to enter level 68 dungeons? lmao what.....Yet again, their "solution" will hurt legit players more than bots. edit: I was corrected. It's 1k instead of 5k. Which is in itself is not that big of a deal. 1,000 gold is rather passive questing gold.
Expert riding is not 5000g, it's 800g - This IS a good change as it forces accounts that normally fly hack up into these dungeons to farm. Legit players are unaffected as they couldn't ever access these dungeons anyway without atleast Expert flying training
this is amazing, a really good change.but still this is a very lazy way of handling with bots, surely you can cut Bobs Salary by 15% and get better cheat detection developers?
what about when it's i think patch 3 or 4 that u could be summoned up there
Druids.
what would speak against Blizz just doing some /who 65-69 mechanar and ban every non Druid (and so on for the other dungeons..) ?
I'm not sure if this was even in the original release, but a legit player would still need either be Druid of have Flying already... So whatever as long as it don't affect Druids
The flying thing is a weird fix. Any player without flying capabilities zoning into any of those dungeons should be insta banned. I mean the "flying check" added doesn't hurt, but is fixing something that should not be happening anyway. It's like saying "I know you are hacking, but your hack won't work past this point, go use it somewhere else", which is dumb.
