Girls Who Code is an international organization aiming at closing the gender gap in technology. The organization has reached over 500 million through online resources, books, campaigns and advocacy work in the U.S. and around the world. They have also served 450,000 girls through their in-person programming including our Summer Immersion Program, Clubs, and College Loops.
We felt it important to support one of the recommended charities from the Blizzard staff to show our solidarity. We have said this before but the strength of World of Warcraft is its community. The level of support you can see here is a clear indication of that. We’re looking forward to raising money for a worthy cause and giving away a lot of cool prizes!
