August 12th Hotfixes - Fixes to Priest Anima Powers and Glyph of Sha benefitting from Rabid Shadows

Hotfixes August 12, 2021 Classes

Priest

Glyph of the Sha will now benefit from the Rabid Shadows conduit.

Torghast, Tower of the Damned

Anima Powers

Priest

Fallen Priest's Blessing will now grant more damage to Devouring Plague, Penance, and Holy Word: Chastise when acquiring multiple stacks of the power.

Discipline

Fallen Priest's Blessing will no longer gain stacks when Purge the Wicked (Talent) deals damage.

I play MM and haven't had any issues in Torghast. Even achieved a flawless layer 12 at 223 ilvl. So the anima powers seem just fine to me.Comment by MightylorddkRemovedComment by EyeOculus

Damn seems like I am playing my hunter wrong the whole addon. Never had any issues in Torghast with my hunter.Comment by SH3BBYHunter here, Solo'd and got flawless 5* on every wing on layer 12, for the Mawsworn Charger's Reins.

Yes, We hunters are the most squishy, and yes our pets can die alot....., but not quick enough for you to react with a utility spell and revive your pet, and we have plenty of choices.

But no, it is not impossible to do it solo, and no we do not need any Buffs for anima powers, if you are struggling, you are choosing the anima powers wrong or just don't know how to utilize all your spells and abilities to stay alive.

the anima powers are actually Overpowered, it was OP last patch, and still is now, especially with the inclusion of the empowered buff and tower knowledge buffs. Just pick the right powers and remember they all can stack which makes certain powers insane.....

DPS will never be an issue and you will always guarantee dps anima choices, so if you do see defensives, pet buffs or even improvement to utility (such as improved tar trap), then get them!, dont be a glass cannon as hunters were born as them already.

if your pet is dying too quickly, then i suggest you need more leech for your pet to stay alive longer and always keep mend pet uptime high, remember with leech mend pet also heals you, and the more hp your pet has (lots of HP bonus anima powers) the more mend pet will heal your pet and yourself

anyways, this is a priest post, and they prob deserved to have a buff in this, but reading these comments and seeing people saying its impossible or hunters need a buff, hell naww.Comment by Luck4RemovedComment by Theclosk

Yes its possible to do it solo with expert play, but that doesn't mean its not broken
