Finally some raid nerfs. Keep more of them coming please, this raid is so overtuned.

Comment by pghcrew

This is great, what about the covenant tuning you need to do so I didn't waste countless hours just to do 20% less dmg than the new meta?

If it was overtuned i dont think it would have taken a week for guilds to start clearing it

So overtuned it got cleared week one with 240+ iLvl.

Jesus Christ. Raid difficulty isn't the problem, your skill is.
Raid is fine. Let people get some gear and stuff will get easier automatically, all the bosses after painsmith are super undertuned already.

I do think they got here because of the reports on the tyrannical week.

Nice key changes, am surprised about some of them.

Was hoping they'd add time to ToP. It's one of the tightest keys now. Too many bosses to kill and too much running around + some RP in there.

Comment by DreadfuryDK

Jeeesus, they absolutely nuked Painsmith into the ground.

This is some extremely aggressive M+ tuning as well and addresses basically all of the big pain points we've been seeing this season (and more). Adding another minute to HoA's timer makes the dungeon a LOT easier to time now, and while the Echelon nerf isn't THAT huge it's definitely very useful for any classes that don't have a reliable way to get out of the leaps they're getting targeted by. Stitchflesh is substantially easier to 1-phase now, especially on Tyrannical weeks, the Spirits aren't the most terrifying single trash mobs since Shadow of Zul, and Ingra is no longer the five-minute slog he used to be since he's taking 300% more damage for 3 more seconds.

These are all really, really positive changes.

Comment by Wollbane

Are you joking? Sanguine Depths and Plaguefall have some of the most forgiving M+ timers of all time, and Spires is also fairly forgiving.

Comment by Adradia

What?Sanguin is fine, Spires is one of the most forgiving Dungeons and with a smooth run in PF you dont have to worry about the timer

Comment by DZon

Pretty insane nerfs on painsmith , i know its a mid-tier boss but he is probably the best mid tier boss ever.

Quite early for it to recieve those nerfs , specifically the HP portion of it. You already have to hold damage and wait out as much as possible.

Not going with the HP portion of the nerf would still keep the fight hard enough , but a 10% reduction is just killing the fun out of it.

honestly i feel like over half the dungeons are tight when it comes to timing them. Sanguine depths could use a time increase, Spires of ascension could use a increase in time, Plaguefall as well and even Mist of tirna

If you think mist and PF need longer timers you are insane. Unless you are wiping on bosses or pulling extremely slowly, the timers are not tight. SoA is pretty well tuned I think. ToP and SD are very tight. But I bet SD is tight because groups I run with from LFG in the 19-20 range is not utilizing the extension of anima-lanterns as well as we could.

Comment by ComeAndSee

ToP and HoA have the two lowest completion rates (50-60% compared to 80-90% for NW, Plaguefall, and Sanguine depths) and are just straight dps check dungeons. The extra 1 minute to HoA is pretty big and will probably bump up the completion rate another 10%. Nerf to 1st boss in ToP will shave like 30-60s off the timer on Tyrannical week.

Then you got the Igra nerf which was the worst 1st boss on Tyrannical.

Comment by Zularis

I don't agree with a single change in the dungeons tab apart from increasing Droman's wrath duration, and upping HoA's timer by 1 minute. They're all unnecessary. The only time they matter is during Tyrannical, making Fortified weeks even easier this way, and by the time next Tyrannical comes around the player base will have gained a minimum of 3 ilvl I'd say from two vaults.

We've been able to do +15 tyrannicals since the inception of the patch and the more time that passes they'll become easier. I feel like it's entirely unnecessary. Much like the Raging and Bolstering nerfs. They're not significant enough to be a game changer during Tyrannical but they're enough to water the content down. I don't think I've ever seen a single person die to Juggernaut Rush in the entirety of Shadowlands.

Idk. This is coming from a player that has only done up to +17s so far, I don't see this as necessary considering the amount of people that are doing +20s already since it'll get progressively easier. Maybe it's different in +20s. Most likely not. I don't agree
