What's with the "Talent Points" earned?

I really like Torghast. Reminds me of Diablo rifts. I hope they can make some even more awesome from it!

What's with the "Talent Points" earned?

They're going to be putting in a meta tree similar to the Horrific Visions tree.

What's with the "Talent Points" earned?

This is probably part of the new torghast talent system mentioned in the interview earlier today. Its going to be similar to the talent system in the visions of nzoth content.

Comment by Renevant99

What's with the "Talent Points" earned?

There's supposedly a talent system that will be implemented like in the Horrific Visions from BfA

Comment by LuckyDucker

So... Didn't they try to implement mechanics before that required a timed or "rush" component to Torghast? And wasn't the feedback on making people rush through Torghast overwhelmingly negative? What happened?

Comment by Silverhustle

Looking interesting. Speed runs may be what most players need, but is there going to be an option for players who like chill Torghast runs that allows players to AFK in beginning of each floor or in the rested dome?

Comment by peach774

This doesn't require you to go fast to get 4 stars, you can still get all of the given rewards and unlock layers without rushing. This awards you with bonuses for going quickly, but also awards bonuses for clearing the floor, killing enemies, and destroying urns, so you ideally need to balance those objectives.

Comment by wallrocha

Wish we had this from the beginning but people had to complain about them adding time and affixes so we got the slow live version :(

Comment by shadowedscholar

I love torghast, I really do but having to get a high score to unlock the next layer? That's enough to make me want to stop doing it. If I wanted to get in the go go go mentality I'd run mythics.

Yes, but that's not what they are doing now.

If you run torghast as you currently do now, outside of not dying, unlocking the next layer requires no changes in how you play.

Comment by TOMRUS

I already dislike those "Torments".

Comment by KolplerFerri

Ion said that you can reach 5 Stars either by rushing or by completing everything. So according to him AFK-ing isn't dead.

Let's see if it actually makes it into the game like that, but as far as we know, that's how it works.

Because the game is already filled with "time attack" modes and Torghast was a break from it. That's why the majority of the players complained when they tried to make it just another "time attack" mode.

Now it's gonna be just Visions 2.0...

"you'll try to complete the run as fast as possible, killing lots of mobs and avoiding dying to achieve a 4+ star run to unlock the next layer."

no plz no, i like and want to skip everything in stealth...
