I have no idea how I'd manage if I were to lose my arms. It seems almost unfathomable.

However, since he seems to be making light of the situation, you really gotta hand it to him- He's made the best of a bad situation. Pun intended.

Comment by Wraknar

That's mostly because you've lived your whole life with them. He didn't, so he wouldn't know what he lost.
But props to him regardless.

this is amazing. Respect!

Comment by Roarce

That is amazing. Keep it up and share your story more. You would be surprised how many people have disabilities. Thank you for being an inspiration.

No arms btw...

This guy is a gangster

There's no excuse anymore for people being bad at this game

Comment by Evelo

Nicely done, good to be proud of your achievements, though personally, announcing it to everyone (to me at least) seems a little arrogant. Could have done without that section.

Comment by Aralnda

Its amazing how far games have come and how they improve and are more inclusive for everyone! wonder what else they can do to help improve for people with mental/physical disabilities?

Comment by VikingKing

I am slacking, clearly

Comment by kaleestraza

I've looked into peripherals like this before, and it is honestly insane how much these things can cost.

Comment by qaccy

Playing video games at all without hands is one thing, but to go as far as picking up tanking in WoW instead of just playing DPS? Consider me impressed.

I've looked into peripherals like this before, and it is honestly insane how much these things can cost.

I think the markup has a lot to do both with often needing specialized equipment to produce this stuff, compounded by it being a relatively niche market compared to something like keyboards. Cost kinda gets passed along to the customer in this case.

That's amazing!

RESPECT to the champ.

I can't even beat normal n'zoth and I have 2 functioning arms! This man is a legend, respect to him.

Comment by Oxyotl

Really uplifting article and post. Keep up the good work. This will give others hope to push and overcome I hope at least.

Anyone would adapt over time, especially if they lost arms at such a young age. You will learn how to use the leftover stubs or prosthetics. You will learn how to use legs and even manipulate things with toes. Muscles will develop slightly different becasue of that and this will also help you.

Imagine living in different age, without video games, or even worse. History isn't very kind to people with any handicap. I'm glad we've moved forward in both technology and society.
