101st ABN AIR ASSAULT!
I sell pets since it only costs 1s to post them and you can keep reposting without really losing a profit until they sell, and they do sell eventually. I also make and sell bags from Embersilk and up. Netherweave on my servers is no longer profitable since allied races get a bunch of 20 slot bags and its real easy to buy a Level Boost with gold which also gives a bunch of 20 slot bags. Also run old raids on any toon that can solo it easily, killing everything and vendoring the old content stuff. I can come out of a raid (depending on the raid) between a thousand to a few thousand gold.\r\rIve tried the gathering mats route and its just boring and tedious, and I get nothing out of it other than gold. I prefer to maximize my time by multi-tasking. Farming sellable pets allows me to collect pets (or AP if its Islands) I dont have while making gold. Farming raids lets me get gear appearances, chances for pets and mounts, and achievements in addition to gold. On occasion I will do the Emissary that rewards gold.\r\rThere are plenty of ways to get gold, its just a matter of being frugal in your spending. If you buy the newest shiny and must have, you're not going to get to that 5 million to buy that Brutosaur mount. Set aside a weekly allowance, what you need for raid and personal use and save the rest for whatever it is you're after.
My trick for controlling my spending is keeping the bulk of my gold in my AH alt's bank guild. I keep 10K on each toon for expenses, but if I want something more expensive than that, I need to go through a few steps to get the gold to the toon that wants to spend it. This provides a time for reflection on whether or not I truly want to spend the gold, or if it is just something that looks shiny and new right now. This has worked for me for a few years, now, so it has just become a habit to mail any extra gold above 10K on a toon to my AH alt. :-) I am still guilty of splurging now and then on mounts or pets, but overall I try to be responsible.
Ghost Iron Ore - The main Ore of Pandaria and still used quite often for Sky Golems and Living Steel conversion. Either sell raw or convert upstream yourself Ghost Iron Ore -> Ghost Iron Bar -> Trillium Bar -> Living Steel. Plenty to be found in The Jade Forest and other areas. Price at time of writing - 11g My server must be broken, I've seen ghost iron recently as low as 3g per ore...

I have TSM set with a 10k cap and I just hit the other tab on the mail operation and send anything over 10k to my bank alt. I try to do this all at the same time so I can approximate my gold income from quest and missions together instead of randomly sending the gold. I also have the mail function in TSM set to send greens to the same alt and then I either list them on the ah or disenchant them.
So, if you want to get some easy Marks of Honor, tune in next reset with each of your 120's!\r\r\rI don't understand, what benefits do you get for farming these for gold?

Reputation is also useful for these recipes, hence the info about reputation buffs.\r\rI think the Bearded One needs to make these links to gold-making more explicit.

How I used to make gold before I had to stop playing for a while, or as much:\r\rLook out for 2K Emissaries on all my 120 alts.\r\rRun last boss of WoD and MoP Raids on 120s weekly.\r\rI stopped doing any Garrison stuff when I switched all my characters to gathering.

Run last boss of WoD and MoP Raids on 120s weekly.\r\rWhat\u2019s the advantage of running just the last boss vs. running the whole raid?\r\rSince WoD and MoP raids are close to one-shot kills these days, I would think doing the whole runs would get more gold per time spent, when you factor in the travel time to get to the raids.

Doing it through LFR means that in cases like Archimonde in Hellfire, you zone in right in front of him.
