Rip discs ha.
Still waiting for those buffs to Demonology Warlock....Yep, aaaaany day now they'll come... Just have to keep up hope... *sobs*
More nerfs to disc? Really? Is that replacing the previously announced nerfs or just adds more? Feels great to play a class that they overtune on release and then nerf with every single patch until the end of expansion... (while the only content where it is good is mythic raiding, because, lets be honest, in m+ and pvp its mediocre at best)
pls buff resto shaman too
Druid still going strong then
Holy Priest needs some buffs. They can nerf pally and disc forever but the damage reduction they bring is very strong.
Might as well just delete disc. Hybrid spec my ass. It has low healing in m+, and now it will have low dps as well. Great design!
Yes, reduce damage more. I want to play a healer, not a forced hybrid spec.
Make Vengeance Demon Hunter souls a buff. We're punished for kiting. We can't use souls left after a pack is dead to start on another pack. You pull a pack and uses Fracture, but you still want to move to another location? Say bye to your souls.
I'm very amused that people thought that the disc priest nerfs will hit hard on them, well it will not. They do respectable DPS even in the M+ scene, and while nowhere near close to say a resto druid or MW monk in terms of DPS output, their burst damage is unparalleled.Which is why the nerfs on some of the abilities are necessary. Other than PW:Solace which does a decent damage on CD, the nerfs are insignificant. The gameplay will not change, except that we may be forced to focus more on direct healing since Atonement also have a slight nerf but with a buff on our Mastery.I'm saying this because I'm an experienced disc priest in the M+.

Disc is already one of the worst dungeon healers, this is just putting them even further to the ground, while Resto is completely unchanged. Bliz devs need to focus more on both pillars of PvE, not just raiding, but the dungeon balance too.
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/zone/rankings/23#metric=hps&class=Healers&boss=-1https://www.warcraftlogs.com/zone/statistics/23#metric=hps&dataset=95&class=HealersNow, everyone complaining about disc nerfs, please, vanish. Especially since it's only healing, and not even taking into account the additional damage output of both disc priest and holy pala. Top in damage amongst healers, and top in hps, and yet apparently nerfs are unwarranted :)
In arenas in particular, if you compare disc priest to a resto druid or resto shaman, priests are not even mediocre, they're pathetic. For m+, maybe discs are a bit better than resto shamans and on par with holy priests - the wonderful trio of bottom level specs. Again in m+, putting disc priests next to resto druids can make any sane person cry. You can't compare the utility whatsoever, since disc has jack. In terms of healing disc does 2/3 of the druid's at best, in terms of dps - 1/2 in AoE pulls; in single target fights, IF they play with the !@#$ty ilvl420 cyclotronic blast trinket, disc priests will do more, yeah. But don't worry, that won't be the case next patch anymore either, since schism won't work with the trinket (nor the crucible essence, nor anything that us disc idiots bothered farming), so they will both be useless. The dots will be useless too. The direct heals are useless now and 1% (lol) mastery increase will do nothing to help that. But hey, raiding is all that matters, right?
Once again, changes where changes are not needed. What makes Discs and Paladins so desirable is their damage reduction, and ability to output damage without sacrificing healing. This change will do nothing, they might as well not even do it.I know there's not much to do right now, this is the final patch of the expansion, we're not gonna see some random massive class change, but this HAS to be addressed in Shadowlands.
The Paladin Glimmer nerf was totally expected, but I’m still a bit disappointed. I’ve just started trying it out on my main (I normally tank) and was getting into it. (I usually haven’t enjoyed healing much.)
