We need ogre allied race!

Still no female ogre model!

They're literally remastering the old EXISTING models
don't expect any totally new models, not gonna happen
if there were no female ogres then, there will never be until Warcraft 4 or in wow

Only just I noticed that ogres have round ears.

Which makes me wonder, how did orcs - who evolved from ogres - ended up with pointy ears.

They did add female centaur and female satyr models to Reforged though, which didn't exist back then.

Except we got female satyr, female demon hunter and female death knight.
Having people hope for something that is out of the norm isn't entirely out of reason.

Ive never understood why they werent one of the first allied races. Would love to play them instead of any of the other allied races they have. The only reason ive unlocked all the other allied races is because of the mounts I collect.

Watchin grubby stream the beta last night, the actual game doesn't look near as good as the individual assets.

They need to do something to brighten it up imo.

It's like all shades of brown and looks dusty? cloudy? idk. It's weird.

Remember when most ogres had one head and only the magi had two? Pepperidge farm remembers.

According to Blizz, they couldn't figure out a way to make female ogres that were both feminine and still obviously ogres. Mostly because they never watched Shrek.

We need ogre allied race!

Why "allied"? It must be a full-fledged race of the horde, to which the allied is attached - Mok'nathal!

Seeing Beastmaster model (not Rexxar) in Reforged really made me wish we had Mok'nathal that looked that cool in WoW.

It could be an "allied race," because of the theory that Kul'tirans were given extra design time because their bodies could be reskinned for ogres. That's why. Not too sure we'd get two headed ogres if that theory is true, but I think a lot of us would still take em.

The ogres all seem to have hit the gym and done some dieting for this reforging.

Well, they did change some models. The yeti you find in sunken ruins changed into a mass of vines kinda monster. But yeah, I don't want to see a female ogre thanks.

With an original model ogres would do better as a full race instead of an allied one

I'm so used to the fat art style of the ogres in original Warcraft 3, so these models just don't look right to me. Still, they look good for what they are. I suppose they do look more fearsome this way.

I.E. they're lazy but if it suits their needs they'll make up any ole garbage they want. We'll have friggin furries as an allied race now but not something that actually makes since to wow's lore

Not quite...
Back in 2005/2006, the male fantasy was rather present in video games (just look at certain vanilla "plate" sets on women) and so the feminine "issue" was a rather "valid" one at that time. They were struggling with Tauren and Troll female characters already, so while they did want Ogres back in vanilla (alongside Naga), they just couldn't make it sexy enough for the many teen boys that wanted to play their game.

Of course, now it's 2019 and that reasoning no longer holds up.
