Curious about what you envision for the endgame of Classic WoW. BFA has seen lots of esports growth with the Mythic Dungeon International, for example, which is a relatively-new type of content for WoW. Do you have any plans to encourage esports like speed-running, which is popular in other classic games, or are you seeing what the community comes up with?

I think the community will speak to us the best, showing their interests, what they watch on Twitch, what they do and organize on their own. There's been super-powerful moments in WoW's history which have been led by the community. And I think if they start doing these things and it makes sense to foster these efforts, we absolutely will.

I can think of a yearly event we actually put in the game--the Running of the Gnomes. It was a big community event, and now it's a micro-holiday.

We're curious to see what the community does in the endgame, for example, if they'll start speed-running Naxx.

having a "fair duel" is literally a joke.

it'll be like MDI where you have very specific specs and 90% of classes are ignored.Comment by NyhverVanilla isn't balanced at all and that'll get in the way of any legitimacy for duels or group pvp, (group pvp isn't balanced either) but there's still a high skill cap in vanilla contrary to what some people think. Dueling tournaments are something worthwhile. However, while this is cool, no one should be running a tournament like this where we're limited to the one server and then calling people "king duelists". "king duelist of server" would work but that's still on the surface level. I know people want and need the hype but this is another thing that ruins legitimacy and integrity of any competitive vanilla scene and most of these, (or all) streamers that'll be in this tournament are not at the skill cap, don't go around calling them- and I sure hope they don't- king duelists.Comment by Leftkeywest>pvp

No other class stands a chance 1v1 against them unless they set some limitations for the Lock (like no double Sac).

Locks, SPs, Mages will be the only 3 contenders.
