I wasn't very hyped for 8.2.5 until this post. I WANT!

Undead Night elf that can tap into nature in some screwed up way and still be a druid... I would be all over that in seconds.

Comment by chrth

Is the transmog the NElf is wearing available in-game?

I would love to see the druid forms for this.

Seems to be a sleeveless version of this set - Regalia of Ternion Glory (Normal and Heroic Lookalike)

Jenafur...Yennefer
Then lay their hands on Witcher now!

Amara from Supernatural anyone?

Comment by zenakrua

If they give Horde undead nelves I'm yeeting myself out of the Alliance.

Comment by Eumalfa

it is unclear if they were raised out of free will or more sinister forces

It's pretty clear from the pre-Darkshore questline Sira was displeased with the leadership of the Alliance

Yes, because they refused to aid the Night Elves against the Horde. If anything, that makes her doing a 180 and start happily killing Night Elves herself even more suspect.

Actually, no.

"Free will
Upon first being raised, a Forsaken does not have free will. It takes more concentrated magic to release an undead's mind. Free will is one of the cornerstones of Forsaken culture, with the great capacity for both good and evil that it entails. However, some undead, especially those who die in combat or under extreme stress and are raised soon after, enter into a violent, frenzied state. Undead in this state are easily manipulated and their rage is often directed at the foes of those who raised them. After the effects wear off, if the risen corpse has not been destroyed, they are given the same ultimatum that other Forsaken are offered: join the Dark Lady or return to the grave. Psychological pressure can also be used to turn freshly-raised undead to the side of the Forsaken instead of the one of their former allies."

Whether or not this is still canon is debateable, but it matches what happened in Darkshore.

Sira and Delaryn both expressed feelings of being betrayed and abandoned by Elune and/or Tyrande, so they're taking their rage out on those two entities by killing their people.

Being displeased because out of all the sudden Tyrande came and was like "WE WANT OUR LAND NOW!" when she knows all of the Alliance forces are concentrated in Kul'Tiras to fight off Horde on Zandalar and Anduin saying "No, are you mad? We can't just do the full spin off because you suddenly came amidst of a raging war..." is illogical. This was reasonable, but really dumb to demand Anduin to abandon everything, set Boralus vulnerable and we'd just see "Siege of Boralus (Raid version)" instead of Battle for Dazar'Alor.

I'd rather have the night elves being victorious against the Forsaken, perc.

Comment by bladerunner49

That makes no sense at all. It's like Sylvanas willingly serving the Scourge. That's the entire point of the Forsaken lore.
Who writes this?

Comment by Fathelos

Except the Siege of Boralus and the KT vs Zandalar war thing only happened after Darkshore... Sure, in 8.1.5 Anduin is indeed unable to spare any soldiers but he didn't spare any before that either. They could've fixed the Darkshore thing and then move onto KT/Zandalar?

Same, I’m tired of Blizz always !@#$ting over them. Burning their tree and getting those edgy black eyes wasn’t enough, but oh well.

Its pretty clear that Sira was conditioned like derek should be or at least should be if he is we don't know yet.
Her displeased with the leadership would be in sylvanas interest so it would make sense that she's been brainwashed and how long she was under control of natho we don't know.

but we all see whats happen soon or the blizzard soon.

hope 8.2.5 will be released next month
