I'm confused, is it active now in-game? Or tomorrow?
This will be an interesting test case for how early Blizz will be allowing events. They have mentioned other events being in Classic, just no timetable.As, I'm pretty sure they have not included the weekly STV Fishing Extravaganza in the current Phase as of yet. (At least the NPCs and fish spots weren't there 2-4pm last 2 Sundays).

Indeed, a low level version of this that was only in the main city or starting zones would have been nice, like the burning man or thanksgiving holidays.
The NPC is just outside IF indeed, I found him and was able to get the quest from him yesterday.

The free food is an absolute godsend for a leveling Warrior like me.The food and drink from the tables in front of the city is not considered conjured btw, so it stays in your bags even when you log out.
My toons are all in the 1-22 range and there is NO quest available outside Ironforge. Obviously then you need to be higher. The food is available and is very useful for my melee toons who tend to get knocked around a bit trying to push on, lol.
running past Southshore is easy...if you're a Horde. on a PVP server lots of newb allies running past Tarren Mill are going to be irresistible targets.
It was active yesterday morning before the reset, but gone afterwards. Dunno what happened.
Glad to finally see a post about it, although it is a bit late, as the event have already been up for about two days on my server.
Just remember to spend 7s20c to purchase 36 Green Firework for a quick 8 Darkmoon Faire Prize Ticket from Green Fireworks whenever phase 3 starts.
