Finally a New Oceanic WoW Classic Realm - Yojamba (PvP) and Felstriker (PvP)

We’ve just opened a new realm in the Oceanic region:

Yojamba PvP AEST

We suggest that players choosing an Oceanic realm consider this one, as other realms currently marked as “Full” population will experience extended queues.

The other two PvP options in the Oceanic region are currently experiencing significant login queues, so we’re bringing an additional realm online to handle demand. We recommend that players looking for a smoother experience strongly consider moving to this new realm, which should be drawing upon a population base that is easily sufficient to support an additional healthy Oceanic PvP realm community.

TBH I think what it's actually demonstrating is that the oceanic servers are under-resourced comparatively. The server's been at 6 hour queues for most of the day - the current wait time is actually lower than it has been when it was theoretically high.

If you have a look around reddit there are compilations of queue size & wait time for all the servers. The one I saw was taken an hour after launch. Arugal stands out as having 40% the queue size of Stalagg and yet still having a similar wait time. Stalagg was at 646 minutes estimated wait, Arugal was at 603 minutes, Whitemane had 501 minutes, and then there was a big drop off to Herod with 228 minutes. This was despite Arugal only having 9723 people in queue and all of those US servers having upwards of 22,000 (three at 25k).

I had multiple friends who'd already organised to play with mates who gave up after 5+ hours in queue on Arugal - that 600 minute wait was not hypothetical.

Whatever Bliz might choose to label the population, the reality was that it was way beyond full for the resources they'd allocated to the server.Comment by JaceDraccusLooks like Oceanic has picked up another PVP server for some reason. Felstriker.

Yojamba's still only medium, so that's interesting.

Also most of the US realms now read as Low. Not sure if that's cuz they're all asleep or Blizzard did something to the metrics.
