so anyone tell me what the date 8.2 release?
Fun and informative once again :) Thanks T & E :)
Who cares if people get banned? Who cares if people stack XP potions? What difference does it make to anyone still playing the game? Those are legit questions that I would like answers to...I find it amusing that Blizzard would punish players for trying to skip the leveling process; because leveling 'the intended way' is its own punishment. Of course it is the grind of leveling that creates a market for Character Boosts.
when 8.2 go on PTR?
Leveling is really fun, gives you a chance to relax if you want to do that while playing WoW. You just need to set aside time goals, like "I want to do max. level until next Friday". Just enjoy it and it's a breeze. There are a lot of fun NPC-Character interactions, or NPC-NPC interactions in the old zones, a lot of fun quests, don't be frustrated when you get dismounted or something and it seems like a setback in your speedrun. Especially since they nerfed XP needed, it's really easy to enjoy the process. This is my opinion, my point of view. I'm wondering if people just expect them to remove leveling as it is? Because whatever they'd do people will still find the same old argument that Blizzard is trying to force them to buy stuff from the shop. Blizzard is going slowly down compared to the older days, but they are not the devil as most of you guys make them sound.
rly can't w8 for the new patch 8.2
honestly i'm pretty positive about blizzard decision to ban those people (cause there are some people that play nice and fair and leveling harder and consume more time .and well i saw that priest josh from method abuse that exploit its a shame for a guy like him that have a lot of money ,instead to buy a boost he disgrace hes guild and himself to use a low exploit )i always i appreciate blizzard for decision like that if someone go in the wrong way they don't care who its that they just take necessary measures- and yes they should be happy the ban could be more months and even permanent or they will restore your level back, i can't belive they risk an easy exploit like that instead if u don't have time and the mood to level just buy a boost that show how greed people are even if they have a decent amount of money like that priest from method shame and hes trash!
Level squish?Realistically, what would happen to a level 100 character if we lowered the total number of levels to 60?We just going to use a proportion and assign some random level 100/120 = 83% of new max? What would happen to something like the Allied races? If the max was changed to 60, you would assume they wouldn't still continue to start off at level 20. Using a proportion, starting at level 20 is about 16% of the way to max. So do we ultimately end up with something silly like Allied races starting at level 9 instead of level 1?What about all the items, like food, with level requirements? What about stats, seeing a level 60 with the HP of a current level 120 would just be awkward. Ultimately, the "level squish" just seems like a superficial change. A ploy to manipulate returning or incoming players in a psychological way. Instead of solving the root cause of the issue. A squish would be a bandaid fix, much like the Level boost new expansions have been including since WoD to get players to largely skip the process as a whole. Leveling in WoW is no longer fun and likely does not entertain players enough to keep playing. Things like talent points, spell ranks, spells themselves (Thanks for pruning all those spells like, Eyes of the Beast, Mind Soothe, & Soulshatter, Blizz) and access to new zones with tougher enemies has been cut out of the process and substituted with nothing. Leveling is void and empty. No wonder it has long since lost it's joy for many.
i pray that thrall's comic back ultimatly.
What really ruined leveling for me is the scaling. Why does every critter around have to gain a level as well when my hero is supposed to get stronger?I like the basic idea but with most other things, Blizzard went way to far with it.Tune down the scaling to maybe half a level per player level if not less.Let us outgrow the zones again, but not as quickly as before the scaling. That said, I find the idea of a level-squish rather irritating, this is merely a testament that they still do not know what they are doing. They will do it and they will have it go live with lots of issues to be hotfixed - like with any other squish so far.And regarding the bans, buff heirloom armor both in item-level and XP gain (by 2x to 5x) and let the players decide if they want to rush thruolder content or not.
