The nerf to Mythic Jaina is neat and all, but can we get a nerf to this Patch Day Latency as well?

Comment by flatluigi

That's literally right there in the patch notes too

What the point of Tide Elemental HP nerf? No one is going to try kill him anyway...

Wasn't there a rumour going round a while back that the end bosses only get nerfed after Ion's mythic guild has killed them? Does this mean they've down Jaina?

Comment by Wowvocate

Nah, they usually nerf the bosses when Ion's mythic guild reaches it. Its eerily coincidental with some of the sudden boss nerfs that have come over the past tiers.

EJ is only 6/9 tho >.> I don't say "only" to slight the progress, just sayin, they aren't up to her yet

Comment by Vordie

The idea that the Jaina nerfs only came in cause "Ion's guild reached it" is not only laughable, it's sad.

The boss is hard, 100 Horde guilds and only FIFTEEN Alliance guilds have killed it. They nerfed it cause they wanna open cross-realm Mythic ASAP, and with only 15 Alliance guilds killing her, it's possible that it would happen too close to the Crucible opening. Take your tinfoil hats off guys.

Can this be it? The update we have all been waiting for? No lag when more than 2 people are fighting in a zone?

Can we still interrupt Jaina's cast in wall of ice interphase? Because that Elemental HP nerf sounds that we have to kill him and cant rush Jaina

Comment by xcess

There will be another nerf when Ion's guild gets to it

Basically this is a nerf to multidotters and cleave classes because now they have to be careful to not kill it accidentally and spawn the small ones... Before they could cleave and build extra resources off the elemental with no risk...

Hopefully Blizzard doesn't try to sneak in the "hotfix" they tried to throw in Method's face to break the strat and force people to kill the ele... Which was reverted because nobody likes to have the boss made harder after so much work was done on it.

It was reverted because it caused so many other things to break in the whole raid at every difficult, like the invisible wall at Laminaria who made it impossible to hit the boss unless you stayed under his red circle
