The Hivemind, everyone's favorite secret, is now in-game and has received a new model as well!

Achievements

Zandalari Master of All type achievements now have descriptions.

Loremaster of Zandalar and Loremaster of Kul Tiras have been added.

The Reputable can be obtained with Battle for Azeroth factions (which have had paragon reputation rewards added).

Previous Expansions

Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor maps have been updated.

Many Portals in the Mists of Pandaria capitals, Shrine of the Seven Stars and Shrine of Two Moons, have been removed. They will now only take players to Northrend Dalaran, Shattrath, and Stormwind or Orgrimmar. Several new Portals are planned to be added to Stormwind and Orgrimmar in patch 8.1.5.

Warlords of Draenor mobs once again give full reputation.

Experience from herbing and mining in the Warlords of Draenor Garrison reduced by 40%.

Legion invasions give ~30% less experience. This is largely offset by the experience required to level being reduced significantly in patch 8.1.

Sha of Anger's map icon now reflects its correct spawn location near One Keg in Kun-Lai Summit.

Dungeons and RaidsTemple of Sethraliss

Lightning Trap orbs move slower.

Galvazzt lightning has a new visual, and Pillars are more randomized.

Avatar of Sethraliss can be healed faster, reducing the length of the encounter.

Underrot

Blood Matrons now have truesight (can see through stealth).

Elder Leaxa map icon has been updated.

Uldir

Normal Mode Uldir bosses no longer drop 250 Azerite.

~~G'huun can no longer be reset using Hunters or Shadowmeld (groups can still wipe to set up gateways ahead of time, just cannot reset without wiping).~~

Class ChangesTides of Vengeance Azerite overview

Blaster Master was nerfed and reduced to a maximum of three stacks.

Vanish no longer procs Subterfuge (Blizzard has confirmed this is unintentional and being addressed.

Echoing Blades was nerfed by 75%.

Reckless Flurry was nerfed by 75%.

Lord of War will only generate a maximum of 10 Rage (meaning even if you have it activated in two or three equipped Azerite pieces, it will not generate more than 10 rage, like most other Azerite traits).

Execute no longer doubles the amount of rage refunded during Sweeping Strikes.

Professions

Faire Favors requires 5 professions, down from 6, and First Aid is removed.

Engineers have Auctioneers in Boralus and Dazar'alor! (Source - u/Jag-)

~~Crafted BoP gear such as Emblazoned Stormsteel Girdle now requires that profession to equip and wear.~~
Blizzard has reverted this change for existing items, but it will be a requirement for future ones

Items and Appearances

Primary stat food no longer also increases stamina.

Equipped off-hand books now sheath on the characters hip.

Fixed tooltips for the Sea Shanties.

Multiple Tabards on upright Orcs no longer stretch and warp their icon.

Azerite Armor can no longer be sold (it is intended to be scrapped for Titan Residuum).

Some transmog missing from the appearances pane have had their missing sets filled in, such as Death Knight Tier 10 (25 player) boots.

Battle for Azeroth Season 1 Elite transmog sets have been added to the appearances pane.

Battle Pets

Bloated Bloodfeaster has been renamed Bloated Bloodfeaster

Smoochums now has a new ghostly model.

Game Files

The game directory has changed, the root World of Warcraft folder now contains a _retail_ and Data folder. Addons, Logs, Screenshots, and the WTF folder are now located inside the _retail_ folder. This shouldn't affect most users, but is important for addon authors, to ensure their pathing installs addons to the correct location. Existing addons should move to the correct folder automatically, and the Twitch addon app should have a popup asking you to rescan and locate the new file location automatically.

Several DX12 and Multithreading improvements have been implemented, which should increase game performance for most users.

Miscellaneous

Dread-Admiral Tattersail will take Horde players directly to Warfang Hold in Stormsong Valley, instead of the docks.

Boralus now has a plank leading to the Alliance ship, allowing players to jump across the docks easier.

An Engineer-only auctioneer has been added to Boralus and Dazar'alor.

Interacting with notable NPCs such as faction Quartermasters, Warfront queue, and several quest NPCs now cause other players to fade out of view.

Alliance players can't read about Amanitar, Eck the Ferocious, and Kolurg in the adventure guide anymore.

Audio options allow you to mute pet sounds.

A summon pending icon has been added to party and raid frames.

Alani's mount, Reins of the Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent, is no long Bind-on-Pickup, so it can be bought and sold at the Auction House. However, now only the person using the Sky Crystal can loot the mount.

Why? Removing the option to sell it is a pointless removal of choice.
