I don't know how many it affects, but I know it's more than just me; but when I run WoW in Dx12, the game no longer runs with G-sync, nor does it use SLI. Not sure if it's worth moving backwards in 2 major categories to run multithreading. No G-sync is especially significant.

My Latency is usually 32ms (home) 32ms (world). After that last NVidia 417.22 update, I can't even play a warfront. My latency was about 200ms (home) / 6962 (world)! Tiragarde was literally over and I couldn't even tell as Rokhan was still standing.Not sure what's going on but I rolled back my NVidia Drivers to 417.01 drivers this morning and it helped a bit, but there still some issues. I was actually able to play a warfront, but it got sketchy towards the end.Second Issue:I can not go to https://us.battle.net! Tried 3 different browsers. Just sits there spinning. Same thing if I look up the lag issue and I get a link to a Blizzard site... Nothing.I know this is not a driver issue, but I can Not figure out why I can't even log into battle.net webpage online!Pretty sure it's not on my end. Does anyone know if we have to do anything when 8.1 goes live to activate multithreading? I mean besides activating DX12 in the graphics options. I remember the previous article about that had some changes that we had to make in config.wtf in order to test multithreading in PTR.
WoW stutters and lags periodically after this update. Never encountered this issue before, it's a bit strange. I'll try switching back to DX11.
What I don't understand is, I have a custom computer from 2012 that only has a new supply, still runs on 2012 parts (Hmm maybe I'm upgrading for Christmas, now that I think about it.... Runs at 90-100 FPS, on high.... D12People with brand new computers can't run at a 6 on settings... What am I missing here

417.22 - 1060 and just noticed the lag and stuttering issue in Uldir Heroic raid last night(12/8) for the first time. I suspect Nvidia/Blizzard are aware, not concerned, next raid is over a month away, and haven't seen any issue outside of a raid.
I had some problems after the last nvidia driver update too. Character select screen was the worst of it, with occasional FPS drops while playing. After toying around with the settings a little I found that WoW was configured to use DX11. When I changed this to use DX12 it’s fixed all my FPS problems. Well first WoW has never been a game that scales great because it's not very optimized like modern rendering engines are. Second, PC components like CPUs have not improved much since 2012 and graphic cards have improved but mostly if you use their new features, which WoW does not.Besides that I've seen gimped PCs which expensive components because their users know nothing about maintenance and install crap they don't need.
Can you clarify.Up to this point, Nvidia and Blizzard stated that the best performance with Nvidia cards was with Dx11 and not Dx12. With these optimizations, are they saying to use Dx12 now?Additionally, do these multithreaded optimizations impact/improve SLI setups?
I'm one of those WoW players that wants to play the game at Ultra settings and I'm willing to pay for it. I am also an addon addict and I know there are addons that just handicap any system setup. I just built an awesome machine and my framerates in Uldir have been terrible. I have to seriously shrink my addons down to the bare necessities (dbm, etc) to ensure I don't drop into the teens on G'huun. I played the game at level 7 on my previous PC and never had framerate issues in Legion while in raids. And, that PC, while no slouch, wasn't as beefy as this one.
