Comment by Valebk2 I think it s way too big gap between Legion and BfA in terms of mission table on other hand prices on AH are pretty much the same it drains casual player stock so fast. In some countries this is only way to pay in game services I think this can lead to some casual players stop playing in inability to get their subscription Comment by Kovomir Looks like I need to up my Island farming game! Herbing\/Alchemy just isn't as profitable as it used to be on my server. Comment by Acccattone I've never personally made a twink specifically to run island expedition, but have done myself quite a few boosts on healer-consumables weeks. As a discipline priest, I can quickly chuck on a Holy Prism, proceed to pull the whole island on my chaffeured chopper, then holy nova everything to death :) lots of fun too. Sadly still no mountsyet, pets only :S Comment by Xhevo I thought Island Expeditions were dead? Ever since they bumped up the drop rates the items you get from IEs dropped drastically in my realm, and they barely ever sell. The only thing I use them for is leveling alts but it's such a slug. Let's hope 8.1 shakes things up in the economy, since the most effective way to farm gold in my experience is BOE farming, but it's so boring. Comment by Gurahk I really love the idea of farming gold via island expeditions. Its way more fun than other methods since you are always excited to get some mount, pet or transmogg that you want to keep for yourself. In addition, it is way nicer to level your twinks via island expeditions and pvp than via questing since you actually do something that your main and whole account benefit from. Comment by wreckinball99 I really like the idea of farming island expeditions it's less monotonous than boe farming, or gathering. On my server prices seam to fluctuate based on the available invasions so sitting on items can get me a better sale price. I put the image into photoshop, reversed it, inverted it a few a times, and after changing it from a .png to .jpeg IT OBVIOUSLY shows the message "the mayans were right, no more gold ". IT'S PRACTICALLY WRITTEN IN NEON!

Well, I guess I might as well throw out all my valuables, delete my bank alts, and live like the hopeless mongrel that I am. Oh how unfortunate of a soul am I. Comment by naeg I have farmed quite a few IEs. I got a few transmogs and pets, but nothing major. I do plan on starting again, as there is not much else to do for me atm. I'm not raiding or doing mythic dungeons. I still hope for one of the mounts. Professions or gold making in general is less fun atm :( Comment by Halgrimmdk The concept of tri-boxing Islands and just solving them on one char sounds wild to me! Now and then we almost lose with 3 players - how can one solo the whole thing? Especially when Chauffeuring around to pick up all the trash - that is usually a sure wipe in PUGs - am I doing something fundamentally wrong or are some people just OverPowered? You really think the average player is buying a bunch of carries every week? That seems like a dubious proposition even in the gold-flush days of Legion, let alone with all the deflation and gold drought in BFA. There are clearly enough people buying for carries to remain profitable, but they go for enough that you don't actually need many buyers to make a substantial amount.

Absent some actual evidence from ErgoNonSim I'm calling baseless speculation-to-outright lies on that point. Comment by selkie47 I really wish there was an easier way of doing this solo. Or at least duo. I'm not a fan of these IEs to begin with and if I just want to farm them, I'd rather not deal with randoms. :\/ Comment by Valkyl Run 700 Islands without seeing any mounts. Probably saw about 2\/3 of the pets (not including duplicates) in that time. Waiting for 8.1 changes to run islands any further except maybe a week with pirates as the main island denizen since that is a good week for Squaks farming.
