Presumably this has triggered cause of the weekly reset and thus isn't available in EU till Wednesday?
Wakanda Forever!Errm...
You know, this is a pretty cool moment, except when you remember that at the very least Hi'reek is a Wild God, which means his spirit is eternal and under the right conditions can be brought back into the world of the living. The same is likely for Rezan and Shadra, and if not, remember the Drakkari loa, who suffered the same exact ritual, still had eternal souls that would return someday. Hakkar and Quetz'lun are both dead, but their spirits are both still active and powerful. Additionally, in the Zandalar quest line itself, we witness the rebirth of Torga, AND the rebirth of Sethralsiss through her avatar. The animal loa / Wild Gods don't die like mortals do, even when sacrificed in the ritual. There's both years of history of loa rebirth, and the current expansion showing it's still possible. Which is insane to me that they put so much work into building upon this lore, until to conveniently forget it.Maybe the Zandalari just regard a loa dying as a sign of weakness and immediately stop worshiping it. /sOr maybe it's just the Zandalari aren't aware of how loa rebirth works, despite being there multiple times it has happened. Maybe it's Maybelline. More likely it's an oversight because the quest / dialogue / cinematic teams don't work together or something.
The Drakkari loa are not permanently dead, all of them besides Mam'toth are still "alive" as spirits. I posted this just moments ago, but once more: https://wow.gamepedia.com/Loa#DeathIt's important to keep in mind that the word "loa" translates into "powerful spirit", as such, the death of a physical manifestation should not really affect a powerful spirit when the whole faith is based on spiritualism. Sheesh Blizzard.
Killed LFR G'huun, used quest item on corpse, item disappears, no quest credit.Beta for Azeroth.
Hey, Wowhead.
What's the Alliance equivalent of this?
Yea
This questline is currently bugged (because of course it is). The part of the quest that involves killing G'huun and stabbing his body with Vol'jin's glaive... can't be done in a raid group. If you try to (because of course you will, it's the only way to do it), you'll lose the glaive and have to abandon the quest to try again, not that it will work on the 2nd time either, at least not until Blizzard fixes this.
