Is there any chance we get a warfront contribution tracker on the frontpage? Like the invasion tracker from legion? Cheers
wow economy dieno content - more mobs with super fast respawn. Good job Blizzard
I took part in the Warfront Flipping having clocked onto the fact it will be a big seller a few weeks ago. I regularly scanned the auction house for green gems based on the WoWhead list from the beta and bought it all out for less than 1k. Since then I have made 200k off of those gems, spending a further 9k to regularly reset the market! So glad the research paid off.
i like the bids... practically 98% of my AH buys are bids and over the years i landed some very nice deals, winning them on bid price alone.
I don't know if encouraging people to abuse spawn points that Blizzard repeatedly hotfixes is exactly the best idea. When you're intentionally seeking out things that you know Blizzard has repeatedly hotfixed in the past, at a certain point they might take to considering that as exploitation -- especially when encouraging others to do the same thing.
The GW2 Auction House (Trading Post) is excellent. You can instantly sell your stuff to people who have put up bids and it really stabalises the price of items.BTW: One of the best features of the TP in GW2 is that you can use it anywhere.
There are a lot of changes that should be made to the AH. It's a very old system and it's showing. A combination of the GW2 and EVE Online system would be preferable. They should also unhook it from the mailsystem, all things AH related should be handled there. You want to pick up your money, go to the AH, you want to pick up items you bought, go to the AH, you have to pick up items that didn't sell, go to the AH. Preferable they should also break all the current AH addons, they are probably besides the aging system the main culprit for all the slowdowns and general problems and issues when it comes to the way the AH works. All the constant scans must be death for that aging system. I doubt their current bandaid solution of the 1 stack penalty have had much of an effect.
A direct copy of RuneScape's "Grand Exchange" would be nice. They'd probably have to drop suffixes from armor to make it work though.I'm going to assume 99% of people seeing this are ignorant about how it works since the game's never been all that popular. You place offers or orders and if one exists the system automatically matches you with one of the opposite type that matches yours the best. For example, you're selling for 20g and there are 3 orders for 19, 20 and 23g respectively you'd be matched with the 23g one. Conversely, if you were buying for 2 for 20g and there were a 23g, 20g, and 19g offer available you'd get the 19g and 20g ones and unless you increase your bid it would never match you with the 23 even if it were the only one available. It has a suggested sale price based on transaction history but you're free to go over or under it as you please, you're just unlikely to make a sale for significantly (20%+) over unless there's a sudden demand for the item that the suggested pricing hasn't caught up to yet.It could be done on a server by server basis as the current AH is but it would work better region-wide.
Best thing they could do to the AH is make anything and everything bought off of it is Bind to Account and becomes account bound so it can't be resold.
All I want in a possible AH revamp is an option to set an undercut price (for example, 1 copper) like they used to have on the mobile app!
What would you like to see at the Auction House in future? Have you preferred the Auction House or trading system in any other online game?I would like the mobile auction house to come back. It helped me play the game from breaks at work and was nice to see what i got instead of waiting to get home. It also got excited to play the game to sell more stuff. I know they have the bfa app, but if you have no resources then you cant play and its hard to find resources in itself. So the mini game they offer on the app seems a little useless. Also it shows the WQ on the map, but if im at work not near a computer, this does me no good. Unless they create a mini game on the app in order to get resources and so i can send followers out. Of course at a cap per a day but just enough so i could send a follower mission out or upgrade my barracks or get more crafted followers.
Lon Measley here! Thanks for featuring me once again, Gumdrops.
Greetings fellow gold goblies,Qwik question. Whats the biggest gold reward mission you have seen so far at the mission table on either side? I've seen around 125g that I could send out at 200%. IIRC I read that there are missions that can reward up to 500g (base) but have not seen such yet. How is YOUR luck?
100+85 is the biggest one I have seen so far. With five epic followers. It seems fairly common but as long as there is anything else I run that instead.
Definitely agree that the Guild Wars 2 implementation of the AH (which technically isn't an "auction" house) is easily the best I've seen in an MMO. There are no "stacks". Every item is sold in singles, usually sorted by price. Buyers can buy the exact amount they need at the lowest price on offer and sellers can see the current demand by looking at buy orders.
