So they will make legion mobs harder to kill to make it "more in-line" with Draenor leveling mobs.

Hooray for only listening to feedback on live and not the PTR which is the reason it exists!
Yet they don't realize that 7.3.5 leveling also had problems.
It is so painfully slow now.
You heard it, better start getting your alts through legion before they make it take longer.
The issue is it started getting slower in 7.3.5.. much slower. I enjoy leveling, but after doing the same content over and over it doesn't make me want to do it yet again. Before 7.3.5 leveling was brisk, I understand they want new players to get a different experience. It's getting harder and harder for Blizzard to hide the possibility these changes are to incentivize boost purchases.
Doesn't it kind of seem like they should've thought of this, ya know, before they made all these changes? I know stuff happens but this all just seems like really poor management and planning. Also as some have stated, this is a double-win for them: a) either players get frustrated and buy a boost or b) it lengthens the time-played metric even more.
Watch them quietly add yet another 25% experience required per level just to ensure "All players get to enjoy the full range of quests in each zone along with the painstaking artwork surrounding them."Quickly followed by another long-winded speech written in perfect legalese about how this is for Player benefit and Not about selling character boosts at 60 USD a pop.
Me and my wife are leveling combo of a tank warrior and paladin healer atm. Queues for instances are basically instant (which is really nice) but the XP is slow, really slow. We've been doing this since level 20 and are now 45-ish. We've had every possible dungeon within that bracket so far. We are also using all of the heirlooms (except one ring) Some thoughts on our experience;-Trash mobs in dungeons take a long time to kill, and it feels a lot longer than it should. M15+ trash mobs die faster. - Some trash has been one-two shotting me as a tank, from a distance (caster druids in Wailing caverns mainly)- Some bosses are extremely hard hitting, resulting in me Heroic leaping away, intervening to further away players etc. Pretty nifty to do, but not something new players would expect to have to do. IIrc this was a real issue on Alzzin the wildshaper in Dire Maul. The tricks I had to pull to surivive there are not what I'd consider logical. If I wasn't a bit of a veteran player, I would have never seen him dead with me still alive.-I like classic dungeons, but they are confusing as hell sometimes. Hard to find your way around some still, even after they have been split up (e.g. Dire Maul has 3 different instances now, but the weird running back and forth seems senseless. For now, I'll leave it at that.
As someone who's currently leveling yet another (going to be my 14th level 110) and my second or third to level after 7.3.5, I don't see how any of this is an issue. I'm leveling at a steady rate, can still pull a decent number of mobs per fight and survive and I'm doing entire zones worth of quests because I don't have to move after 8 quests because I out leveled the zone.If the mob power is reverting back some after a jump in content level I can understand why they'd want to boost that up a little rather than drop everything down (which would then require a cascade clear down to the starting areas) to realign everything. So what if it takes 4 casts instead of 2 in order to kill something (Or as I've seen before 6 casts instead of 2-3). I get it's going to take a bit more time but this game is more than just its end game content. If you're that desperate to hit max level as fast as possible, pay the money to boost, otherwise enjoy the level experience. If it's stale pick zones you haven't done in a long time (or ever). I've recently gone back and done stonetalon mountains for the first time since just after its rework because I could.
Bugger, was hoping there'd be a fix to 60-80's relative speed, too.
Personally I agree with EarthenRastlin, I also level at a steady rate, with or *without* heirlooms, the latter of which I recently did on a velf mage. I had no issues in killing mobs really be it a melee w/ looms or a caster w/o them. In a way, I was leveling faster in 7.3.5 than I was prior to it, because I wasn't forced to leave zones early after doing a dungeon or two, I was wasting a lot less time in between dungeon runs than before, because I could continue my questing where I was before the dungeon rather than being forced to decide on and travel to an entirely different zone and abandon old quests to pick up new ones. If people are so 'sick' of doing the same content as I've heard repeatedly thrown around, then why are you? Why are you leveling alts at all if you hate it so much? It's a valid question imo.
I would much rather they fix 60-80... :/
