▬ Hyped for Battle of Azeroth ♥
“This is fine.”‘nuff said. :D
HYPE TRAIN CHOO CHOO
*SO HYPED*
I said it before and will say it again. Sylvanas is dumb.Alliance and Horde are not in the state of war at the moment... and she thinks that she will prevent the war by starting it? I mean, how on Earth does a direct attack against Alliance not start a war? Then she thinks that killing one of their leaders will make Elves weep in the corner for the end of time? How come she doesn't know that it will actually make them hate the Horde and want to fight it even more? And if not them, the rest of the Alliance will for certain, because we all know that certain people in the Alliance are waiting for an excuse like this. For every one Elf that can potentially be sulking in sorrow over Malfurion's death, there are 10 Humans, Dwarves, Draenei and others who will crave for blood. And last but not least, we get this golden quote:"By occupying Darnassus, we will control the flow of Azerite and ensure it cannot be used against us. The Alliance will dare not attack its own city for fear of harming civilians. With a single stroke, we will guarantee generations of peace."How does a single thought in this make sense? This is Sylvanas suggesting that the Horde army will literally occupy Darnassus while keeping the Alliance civilians still inside... for generations. Yeah, it does mean that. Because if the plan depends on the Alliance not attacking for fear of harming their own civilians, it means that the entire time of the Horde occupation, the civilians must be present. And the Horde army must also be present to keep them inside and keep the potential attackers out. Does Horde really have so much personal that they can keep this up indefinitely? And all of this is before there is any burning. The burning actually saved her hide, because the original plan was so ridiculous nobody could take it seriously.
My only problem with the whole scenario is Saurfang committing a dis-honorable act. That is totally out of character for him.
I'm willing to stand with the worgen during the timed mission to check if he yells "THIS IS NOT FINE" near the end of the time limit.... or if he melts.
I don't really understand why anyone still tries to make sense of any of it. I mean, after joining forces to stop Garrosh, Gul'dan, the rest of the Burning Legion, and whoever else over the years, it makes literally no sense that we'd be back at war again. Whilst I get that Sylvanas is paranoid, Anduin's a child and Greymane's a, well, bleeping bleep obsessed with revenge no matter the cost, there are enough clear heads on both sides to just say "STOP!" Including players, I must add. I've been wanting a neutral option to factions since MoP, as I'd never side with such poor decision-makers. Anyway, that's by the by. None of it makes any sense, chances are, some things will become clearer as the expac develops, some things won't. Rinse and repeat...
I think it might have been better if they didn't time gate the steps to this quest line so much. I've played through it fully on both A/H sides and there's frankly not that much to it. Gating the steps by week I think will make it seem like even less content. The only thing we're missing is the burning-of-the-tree cinematic. After the Legion pre-patch two years ago with the invasions, I was really expecting a lot more than this. It's fine, but it's just not as amazing as the Legion pre-patch.
Dude, Sylvanas is going completely crazy. She's just becoming the people she fought against: Garrosh and Arthas. I thinks she is coming to an end once more.
I still think this expansion makes no sense thematically following Legion. After the peoples of Azeroth band together in an unprecedented display of unity to turn away one of the biggest existential threats the world has ever known do we build upon it for further peace and cooperation? Especially in light of the grievous wound inflected upon the very world we stand on? No, we go back to squabbling. Oh please Lady Sylvanas I’m begging you to save us from Anduin “Please sign my petition for peace” Wrynn!
well, for a pre patch is looking really boring, how can i find hype when in the legion prepatch we literally fight an army of demons?and if it was not sylvanas.. then it was azshara? are really going into the route of "LUL ULD GUDS"btw "this is fine" LOL.
Story guess -Genn lights the city on fire to ensure the war happens
This title is a spoiler itself, I hate how it had to be everywhere, you CAN NOT avoid spoilers for new expansions if you go online, it pisses me off.
